I wish you could hear music like this on a country station. Modern country has nothing on talented musicians/songwriters like this.

I have been introducing myself to the Americana/Folk/Bluegrass artists and I have been thinking about where I have been because I have been so disappointed in contemporary country. Dan and Ronnie are keeping my surprise at the great talent that is out there! I have found new mentors for my own music and I'm taking a new turn down a beautiful road! Thanks guys!

@@jimwitthfftjrgensen1400 Bluegrass typically consists of just acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, dobro, and fiddle. A country band, on the other hand, might include pedal steel, keyboard, electric guitars, and drums.

Gotta love the way Dan just adjust the tuning on his bass strings, yet the thumping never stops! Also, I really love when Dan belts it out on those higher notes. What a performance!

Well actually Dan plays everything from Guitar to Mandolin to Banjo to even the fiddle. And Ronnie can play Bass, Guitar and Mandolin. And they played in the lonesome river band together in the early 90s with Sammy Shelor on Banjo, Tim Austin on Guitar, and Dan on Mandolin and Ronnie on Bass.
