Thank you for your in depth anaylsis to this wonderful song, Dan Vasc is an incredible artist who is able to sing ANY genre of music. Opera, to rock, to religious, to Disney, to classic he is so incredibly versatile. The more you listen to him the more impressed you become with his talent and artistry.

One of his Christmas hymns, Angels We Have Heard On High, he remade in 5 languages: Italian, German, Brazilian Portuguese, English, and the chorus in Latin. He has many great covers that span many genres: metal, rock, folk, theatrical, opera. Enjoy your journey of discovering Dan's amazing vocal talent.

Grazie mille per questa analisi estremamente dettagliata! Dan had many years of classical and contemporary training, his range and breath control are incredible and Dan can sing every genre. The longest note he held with full power lasted 30 seconds at the end of "Black Wind Fire and Steel", it leaves you breathless only from watching. I highly recommend to listen to his "Nessun Dorma", "The Music of the Night" from The Phantom of the Opera and "Gethsemane" from Jesus Christ Superstar, in my opinion this is Dan's best and most captivating performance, especially acting wise. Thanks for your unique detailed analysis especially of his high distorted mechanisms. He has classical training and I believe he has also taught voice. His creative expressions and innovative interpretations are classy with an occasional punch of humor. He also has a metal band Fearless with original music as well as his 200+ videos of all types of covers from classical, theatrical, pop and metal. All videos are done in his garage and his collaborations are delightful. He purposely kept his early videos to encourage others to work hard and persist. I have watched other vocal coach reactions to Dan's songs but your is the most detailed and informative yet. Thank you so much for your attention to detail and for your acknowledgment of his vocal skills. As mentioned by many below, he covers many genres of music, all wonderfully done. I think you would really enjoy Bring Me to Life, the cover of Evanescence's song. His newest one, My Heart Will Go On, turns Celine Dion's song upside down in an amazingly good way. I really enjoyed this and have subscribed.

Grazie mille! That was a wonderful analysis and explanation. I love listening to people who really understand voices and vocal techniques. Dan is so versatile, and his vocal and stylistic ranges are so wide, that it's difficult to make recommendations. I'll second Angels We have Heard on High, so joyously and gorgeously sung. His cover of I'll Make a Man out of You was called by one vocal coach "a singing lesson." Dan's newest would be interesting for you to hear - it's an outstanding metal transformation of the lovely but weepy Celine Dion song, My Heart Will Go On. There's a little bit of everything in it - some straight gorgeous singing, some growls, and some fantastic high metal screams, all performed with smiles and volcanic energy. I think you would love it. For one more suggestion in a very different genre, try The Music of the Night for a peek at theatrical Dan. Thank you so much. I'm subscribing, hoping for more Dan.

If you enjoy opera, please listen to him singing Nessun Dorma by Puccini. He does not make it metal. He’s not Pavarotti but his performance is phenomenal! His father was Italian so I believe he speaks Italian as well as his native language of Brazilian Portuguese.

Dan does all of his videos in his basement and has built his career up from nothing to almost 1 million subscribers. He has trained very hard on his vocal skills as you noticed. Your reaction to Dan is one of the most precious ones I've ever heard. Thank you so much! Please analyze his "O Holy Night" as well. I believe there are very few singers who can sing the vocals as Dan does in this song. That's why I think it's especially interesting for you.

I really liked the reaction. Dan Vasc also sang the sound of silence and I am also very impressed and enthusiastic about this song. I can generally recommend all of his songs, whether covers or his own. "Nessun Dorma", Gethsemane Jesus Christ Superstar, the Witcher series or the Manowar cover. 🤘

You can't go wrong with Dan Vasc! He is the best there is and there's no one even close to being able to touch him. Really enjoy your reactions which are also like no other. Dan is not only a superior artist but also a fine human being. You might check his Last Ride of the Day and if you have 13 minutes, Haloween from Helloween which is a favorite of mine which features Victor, the guitar nerd and one that I play often. Aloha Jack! Before Dan Vasc, never really listened to power metal before, but he make it tasteful, unique and beautiful! My first live will always be Dimash, then HuaHua, Forestella, Dan Vasc and So Hyang in that order. Mahalo for reacting to Mr. Vasc!

Very good work, I love in depth analysis like yours! Next reaction to Dan, it depends if you want to check out how creative his orchestrations are, then Kiss from a rose ft. Violet Orlandi, if you want to see how many different techniques he can access, Burn Butcher, Burn, to get a look at a better, freer version of his lower range, Fairy Tale and to understand how much emotion Dan can pour into a song, Son of pain, originally by Italy's own Rhapsody. 😉😉 A favorite band of his and mine. 🎸🎸

La apprezzo molto nei suoi commenti....io vedrei molti parallelismi tra lui ( che mi piace moltissimo) e Boschetto del Volo (che adoro), anche se pur diversi....ma entrambi voci bellissime ed usate al massimo del loro potenziale. Mi congratulo con le sue analisi vocali, per quanto possa servire, le condivido in pieno.

Oh wauw, what a great reaction from you, so detailed! Thank you! Dan has a lot of renditions, you’ve already read this in al these comments here 😊 I have a lot favorites. But the way you analyses his voice, I think Nessun Dorma is a nice one to analyze, orBring me to life, oh holy night, my heart will go on, i”l make a man out of you.. but also Wuthering heights is a nice one. I’m looking forward to your analyses. Not only from Dan Vasc, but also other artists . Thank you (and I love your Italian speaking ☺️)

Penso che tu sia diventato immediatamente il mio reattore preferito, perché non solo HAI conoscenza ed esperienza con la voce umana, sai come SPIEGARE quella conoscenza, anche a un gruppo misto di persone di altri gruppi linguistici. Vorrei anche ringraziare @Lydelith per avermi mandato qui per vedere questa reazione. Io, a mia volta, ho inviato il collegamento a mia figlia più giovane. Lei ed io stavamo proprio parlando di alcuni di questi elementi (in generale), molto recentemente. Ha anche una voce MERAVIGLIOSA, fin da quando era molto piccola. Tutta la nostra famiglia è appassionata di musica e lei è una delle migliori. I subscribed and will watch your videos as often as possible, whether you react to Dan Vasc or other artists. I think you immediately became my favorite reactor, because not only do you HAVE knowledge and experience with the human voice, you know how to EXPLAIN that knowledge, even to a mixed group of people from other language groups. I'd also like to thank @Lydelith for sending me here to see this reaction. I, in turn, sent the link to my youngest daughter. She and I were just talking about some of these items (in general), very recently. She also has a WONDERFUL voice, ever since she was very little. lui ha anche fatto una cover di "I'll make a man out of you" molto bella, come altri cantanti, c'è peyton perrish sempre metal dove in base a quanto si vuole c'é zombie (cover di cranberries) e valhalla calling. E sennò una band acappella sempre impressionante c'è voiceplay con per esempio "nothing else matters" di metallica o se andiamo più diseny hellfire (del gobbo di notre dame). Tutti molto molto impressionanti vocalmente :)

I greatly enjoyed your reaction and analysis. I have been warching many vocal coaches give analysis of Dan and many other singers across many genres. Great analysis, thank you very much for sharing your knowledge with us. One day I would like to see you analyze Marko Hietala's performance in Nightwish - High Hopes (End of an era dvd). It's a Pink Floyd cover made by the band that many say is more of a tribute, due to the excellent unique version they made. I'll hope you accept =)
