My dad is a minister and my mom is the choir director and it almost brought the both of them and my dad's twin to tears. I got goosebumps on top of goosebumps. God smiled when He heard this angel glorify His name.

Dan Vasc has a God given talent. He sang this song the way it was MEANT to be sung!!! He shows such emotion & builds up the strength throughout the song to a beautifully powerful & climactic ending that makes you truly FEEL every word all the way to your soul. It's simply a wonderful thing to feel the presence of God. This is the very BEST version of Amazing Grace I've EVER heard in my ENTIRE life. God bless Dan Vasc for sharing his talent & this video with the world! 💕🎶✝️🎶💕

Best version I've ever heard, and I was brought up in the church, sang in the church choir and was a church secretary..not a fan of metal, but it meshed perfectly...Dan's voice is amazing! He also sings opera..

Daniel sang this song the way it was meant to be sung, forever. It is a testimony to the evolution of faith: at the beginning we see the reverent shyness of a recent convert and at the end we see the joy of the son who - recognized and accepted - gratefully throws himself into the Father's arms. Dan is a musical genius - he takes any song he wants and turns it into something better. He becomes the song he sings. He commented that as his faith grew stronger, he began to choose his versions more carefully so that he could bring people only high vibrations of joy, hope, real power and gratitude. Love your reaction to this song! Everyone who hears Dan Vasc and this song have the same jaw dropping, ear-to-ear, head shaking grin at how epic this performance is! Best Version EVER! Just wait til you hear his other songs - 200+ great covers... Gethsemane, My mother told me, Battle Hymn, Several Witcher covers, Handel's Messiah, Nessun Dorma -- all fantastic. He's Brazilian - native language is Portuguese. His dad gave him a harmonica when he was 7 (his dad passed away from cancer about 5 years ago). Dan is genuine - pours his whole soul into every performance. Truly epic voice. Do more reactions to his work - it was great!!

God-given gift is what he's got!! Never have i ever heard a better rendition. And Im a PK (Preacher's Kid) have been in church since in utero. My daddy's in radio and Christian broadcasting. Im also a vocalist, musician, pianist, and play guitar. My Granny also played the harmonica with that kind of talent! What a blessing! I can't stop listening to this and sharing it with everyone! It's so trippy to watch all of these reaction channels that I'm familiar with react to Dan Vasc. I first discovered him when I first tuned into the Friday Night Tights stream a year and a half ago. He made an awesome original song for their intro that instantly hooked me into that show. Been watching that stream every single week since. Then I checked out some of these covers like this one. Also got familiarized with him through the streams of those in that sphere, because he shows up sometimes on the streams. I love the stream he did with Chrissy Mayr, in which he got to talk more in depth of what he likes and what he does and has done. Loved his story about Christopher Lee, though it's unfortunate about Christopher Lee passing before he could get him on his album.

Dan's father gave him the harmonica when he was 7. He was also a musician but passed away a few years ago. Dan did a beautiful tribute to him which is available online. Go hunt it down and get acquainted with more Dan. He is actually a multi instrumentalist and is lead singer for the metal band FEARLESS which he formed with friends but presently performs live only in Brazil. Dan's mother sang opera but it took him a while to decide music was what he was actually destined to do and like many out there I'm grateful. He puts his heart and soul into everything he does! Amazing isn't a big enough word!
