64 Dans in the choir behind him for the Portuguese and English verses (which I believe are all the 1st verse of the song, only). Then, of course, the "Glorias" are ALWAYS sung in Latin. So, all in all, there are five languages coming out of Dan's mouth by the time he gets through with this song. Great reaction. Thank you! Also, be sure to watch to see what Dan produces sometime before Christmas THIS year. In 2021, he posted his Christmas video on December 16. Last year he posted it on December 22. Today is December 20. He HAS told us there WILL be one, but nobody except Dan knows which song it is, or exactly what day. Just be on the watch. 😀 My favorite verse, just because of Dan's stance, and the way he spits out the words, is the German verse. Other than that, I always love the Glorias when this song is sung. I used to be in choirs all the time, myself, and have sung this song MANY times. What's REALLY great about listening to Dan sing the whole thing, is that he "follows all the rules," and NEVER takes a breath in the middle of any of those gloriously-held Glorias. Go, Dan! 😀

Yes, the choir behind it is also him singing in Latin, with several layers of voice. The song has 4 different verses. This is 2021, ADESTE FIDELIS 2022 and 2023 is coming this week. Merry Christmas!

Thanks, great reaction! It's actually 5 languages, because of the "Gloria in excelsis Deo" choruses, which are Latin. The Portuguese language "choir" behind him is indeed all him. I love what he does with this song, one of my favorite carols. Such a gorgeous voice, fantastic range and breath control, and of course the presentation, which is so Dan. Merry Christmas!

@@karenm5681 ,it is 60 tracks. I watched a Dec 8, 2021 Greeks and Gamers podcast with Dan in the panel. He said he and recorded his voice 60 times that morning for the chorus.

Great reaction! For other songs in different languages, listen to Cha-La Head Cha-La(English, Japanese, and Português versions); canción Del Pirata (Spanish); and Adeste Fideles (Latin). Dan is absolutely amazing!

In all his videos, he sings all the voices unless you physically see someone else singing. I believe it was 60 tracks of his voice to make the choral part. Great performance, as always. Thanks for your continued support of Dan's music. Merry Christmas.

The song is of French origin and has 3 verses. In German alone, there are at least 3 very different translations. This is the order: 1. First verse of the Italian version 2. Second verse of the German version by Roger Whittaker 3. Third verse of the Portuguese version 4. First verse of the English version
