Dan's early years on YT were more of a hobby and he was studying with voice coaches and honing his skills. In 2018 he publicly voiced his goal of 1 million subscribers. He had 21,000 at that time. He slowly built his channel by putting out videos once a week and then twice a week for a while. He stated that he didn't have a life because he was working constantly. Toss a Coin to Your Witcher launched his career. He knew that song would do it because of the popularity of the games and the Netflix show, so after just the second episode he worked like crazy to be the first the get that cover out. And, the rest is history. His numbers exploded. The special that he recorded for his 10 year anniversary was with the song Go The Distance. In it he shows clips of his videos from the beginning to that point in time. It is really fun to watch. I would love for you to react to it. Thanks for another great reaction. I love this song, too.

Dan needs to get his merch store back up and running! While the seam is rich on Dan's channel, I wanted to point you in the direction of Thunderstruck by Orion's Reign on their channel. Dan was their temporary lead singer on that and it is awesome.

The pure joy experienced as Dan reached the million mark yesterday 5/12/24 was EPIC!!!! I saw the numbers turn as it happened….what a rush!!!! The one thing that has been seen, about "the next thing" Dan has planned, after hitting the 1M mark, is the statement he made two months back, on his YT Community page. It states (in answer to someone's question about whether or not his MANOWAR project was still in the works): - - - - - - - - - - "Yes. Recording starts after 1 million subs. A full length tribute album with old Manowar classics re-recorded with today's technology and some re-imaging of yours truly, no expenses spared. Title chosen, cover art made, track list settled. Stand watch." - - - - - - - - - - My supposition is that he is already working on the recording part of the project, since he's also mentioned that promise several times, live, since then (once when talking to Eric July in a recent YoungRippa interview, very shortly after he posted it on his Community page). Also, back when he did his 500,000 Subscribers Party, live podcast video, he mentioned that there would be some sort of a party for the 1M mark. At any rate, at this point, he has posted the 1,000,000 screenshot (on Instagram) shortly (after it appeared on his screen on Sunday afternoon -- it would have been somewhere around 5:30 PM his time, since my husband saw it turn to 1,000,001 here on my own computer screen, at about 3:30 PM CDT, which is two hours behind Dan's time). Then there was the usual reel-of-the-day posted on both Facebook and Instagram yesterday (Monday, 05/13/24), but nothing else since then (it's currently 2:31 AM CDT, on 05/14/24, here where I live). So I think we can pretty much figure that he's keeping his promise and working hard on the MANOWAR album, and we'll hear more about that, and any planned celebration, when he surfaces. Yes, Dan's subs are over the moon for him. Now he can get busy on that Manowar tribute album. He said he would start working on it when he reached one million.
