He is not former military, but he served in the army, as military service is compulsory for Brazilian men. They are trained for up to 12 months, from the age of 18.

71 year old Grandma of 2 here❤️⚘️ Dan Vasc has around 250 covers such as "Nessum Dorma", "The music of the night" many genres . A young Dan singing "Dream On" He also dedicated the "Elvis Trilogy " To his Father who passed 6-7 years ago of cancer. He shares a picture of his Father and him at the end. "Love Me Tender " The harmonica he plays in "Amazing Grace" his father gifed him when he was 7. Dan is a very humble man. He has in his covers documented his growth starting around 2009. He dedicates and shares his suicide prevention in his channel he sings" Don't Give Up, You Are Loved", shares a heart felt comment on a cover Chester did. Usually he will share some comments right after he does a cover . His Metal Version of "America's National Anthem ". Is incredible !!! However you must !! watch his "Apology video" "Right" after !! He's Brazilian and I'll say "Dig In " "Mulan" , "Burn Butcher Burn"😂 "Phantom of the Opera" " My Heart Will Go On" ,"Oh Holy Night " , Groups"Toto", "Iron Maiden " "Sound of Silence" "A Million Dreams " "Journey" "Handel's Hallelujah " , " "Angel's we Have Heard on High"! As an opera singer, you may be fairly interested in seeing his cover of Nessun Dorma, from Turandot, or perhaps his doing the choir in Handel's Messiah "Hallelujah Chorus." Seriously, he has about 250 coverss, and also originals with his band Fearless, and appearance with Orion's Reign. I have yet to hear a clunker in the bunch.

Great reaction. This man is a phenomenal vocalist and the control he has over his instrument is insane. Just pick a video, you are very unlikely to be disappointed. Thanks for spotting the thing that makes the difference for Dan, his incredible skill at arrangement! For another song with a very beautiful and original take, look up his Kiss from a Rose. A great one from when dan was just starting and had only one camera is Hrart of Steel. 😉

Dan had only one camera and did several takes for a lot of his songs in recent years, including this one! He is amazing in all possible ways, and he said he would get a second camera for the filming of the next video, which is long overdue. ;)

Any song you pick by Dan will make you astonished. The Phantom of the Opera, Angels We Have Heard On High, Gethsemane , The Song of The White Wolf, My Mother Told Me, just to name a few I really like… oh and also Go to Distance and Heart of Steel where he speaks a few lines before the song about a very serious problem humanity has been facing, add English subtitles. You’ll love all of them for sure😉🥰

I loved your reaction to this. Dan is very talented and skilled. He has also been a singing teacher. He does everything from folk to opera to power metal. Try his covers, Amazing Grace, Music of the Night, Beauty, and the Beast with Minniva. My Heart Will Go On, Time to Say Goodbye with Ren Stillnight, The Sound of Silence, Heaven is a place on Earth. The Last Goodbye. Dawn of Victory with the original singer Fabio Lione and Dan's band Fearles. This one is a symphonic power metal. That is just to start. Enjoy .

If you watch one of Dan‘s early pieces, “Siege of Paris” from November 2010, you can see him using his cell phone in his room so starting off with just a cell phone is fine. Eventually, Dan has graduated to multiple cameras. It’s all a process that he makes look extremely easy, but we all know it was very hard work. Thank you for your reaction.

Actually if you go through military boot camp and put in as a reservist then yes you served in the military serving in the armed forces doesn't always mean active duty

He leaves his old videos when he was just starting youtube. The first videos were dine with a cell phone in his mothers house. You can see his prigress and learn how much work he put into practicing the skills needed to make a production of this level.. He us a really nice guy.

Thank you for your reaction. I think I'm right in saying this (if not please correct me). From what he said in the past, he started with using his laptop camera, then his phone, now has one camera and does every piece three times. Takes the audio from the best and then does the video edits with the camera shots.

Thank you for your reaction, really enjoyed it. Please, big PLEASE, listen to Dan doing Adeste Fideles in Latin. He also does Angels heard on high in Italian, German, Portuguese with 65 layers of his own voice to form a choir, and then finish off in English. The chorus is done in Latin also.

Dan does a weekly podcast on his friends channel "fearthebeardo" called bro science, warning just in case, it's not for the politically correct, Dan is very unapologetically him. With that being said, his music always gets brought up at some point during the show. Dan records in his studio, if it says he did the drums and guitar it's with a program he uses I forget the name, or he'll get someone like Victor the guitar nerd to do parts. Mixing, mastering, filming, editing, and producing is done by Dan in most cases. When you are watching him sing you are actually watching very well done "lip syncing". I put quotes around lip syncing because he is actually singing in the video the way he normally would (albeit with some acting as well) but what you are hearing isn't what your watching. It's a genius way of getting perfect vocals on a "live" music video.

Walt's followers would of been better of having a man like this do the tune as this man did. Donny just dont have the voice for this song where as this guy. Man he can sig. Not only that but make him a strawberry blonde and that was me 50 yr ago. Hair and all. But mine was a little longer hanging below my knees by age 35. The body is gone as is the hair but I still have my own teeth. As Willie put it sans hair...
