Probably one of the funniest SNL cast members. He really did shine off the cuff especially with Dennis.

+Johnny Skinwalker My mom likes it when he's scripted. She says he's too silly when he's allowed to just run free on talk shows. I disagree, him being let loose is him at his finest. Yes, I like him scripted, but seriously, some of his best moments are the ones where he is allowed to just run with his impressions. I love how Miller just lets it happen!

I saw this when it originally aired (I have been a fan of both since childhood - Carvey since 1992, and Miller since 1994). I grew up watching this show and SNL reruns in tandem, I love these two together because while they have different abilities as comedians, when they are together, they are like a well-oiled machine. It's nice to see how they have always stayed close friends.

It boggles my mind why on earth didn't Dana had a talk show of his own. The guy is well informed, funny as hell and quick witted. His energy is unquenchable. Compared to the current crop of late night show host who knows nothing but pander and be half baked funny Dana is way way way better than everybody.

I honestly agree that the best years of SNL were from the late 80s early 90s, when Dana Carvey was kind of the main attraction of the show. They had a powerhouse of talent including Sandler, Farley, Hartman, Myers, etc.

There's rarely a conservative or right leaning guest host (or comedian) on SNL anymore. So much for being unbiased. The Weekend Update feature has turned into jokes about Republicans and conservatives. They used to make fun of both sides, now the network doesn't even care about hiding their political beliefs, or giving equal jokes to both sides.

aka The Jimmy Kimmel Syndrome. gag. I'm moderate, but yeah it's beyond nauseating. Carson never played sides, he had far too much class...something the circus clowns out there now know nothing about

I think it's because the Republican party is a joke now. Back then, they were respectable folks who had simply differing ideas from Democrats on how to run the country. Now, they're full of people who pander to the lowest common denominator of bigots, anti-vaxxers, and religious zealots.

If that's how Dana talks dirty to planes, I can't even imagine how his sex tape would sound. It'd probably be called "The Master of Jizzguise" or "Live From Dana Carvey's Bedroom, It's One Hell of a Saturday Night!" to start with. Maybe even "Opportunity Knocks on Hard Wood" or "Clean My Slit". How about "One of the Boys Becomes a Man" or "Blue Thunder in the Sack"? Oh, or even "Church Lady's Sinful Lust (not actually a lady, by the way)" or "You Do Know That The Guy Who Plays Garth Algar Isn't Really A Timid Prude, Right?" I'm sorry.

I simply adore Dana Carvey. This vid redeems Dennis Miller in my eyes. I wish he felt more today like not being an much of an A.H. Look how he sits back and lets Dana take it away. I'd like Miller more if he'd do that. He'll always have the most beautiful eyes. No more brilliant talent than Carvey, and I am left with just feeling compassion for Miller. Miller's craft is unreliable.
