Adam is excited to welcome Dana Gould to the podcast later in the show, which prompts him to talk about the history of Huell Howser, as well as his own brief experience in college. Bald Bryan then reviews ‘The Last Duel’ for this week’s Baldywood, and the guys go on to talk about Wokeness.

Dana Gould is in studio at the top of Part 2, and the guys talk about his new documentary concert film, ‘Joy Ride’. Adam asks Dana about his relationship with Bobcat Goldthwait, and they chat about the horrible car accident they got into the night they were going to tape their big comedy special. They also break down some clips of Huell Howser for a round of ‘Huell’s Jewels’. In the last part of the show, Gina reads stories about ‘Let’s Go Brandon’, Caitlyn Jenner coming to Dave Chapelle’s defense, a study about Fluvoxamine, and the meanings behind different colors of Halloween pumpkins.

Wrong. "Woke is NOT about being more down with racial, gender, or other identity "inequities".... "Woke" is simply a term stupid people (leftist ideologues) started using to make themselves feel superior. It is a narcissists term to announce to the world that one is not as inferior as they feel. Ironically, people who claim to be "woke" are not consciously awake at all.... I bet money that when I see the movie I will be in complete disagreement with Bryan that it is not a "woke" movie. In fact, MOST of television and movies are now ruined because they have an ulterior motive to make a "woke" statement rather than entertain.... The reason Sonny mentioned the "a lot of rape" talk is because Sonny having not been completely brainwashed by "woke" society, has GREAT INSTINCTS that there is something totally unnecessary to make a good movie.

I grew up in a trailer park in Ohio and it was a very popular place to trick or treat because of the density of the homes. Wasn’t until Adam said it that I realized how privileged I really was.

Tipper gore was a democrat I don’t Know if Gina was saying she was Republican if she was a Christian I don’t know but most Christians don’t like swearing but they don’t complain about it they just don’t listen to whatever offends them. I know times were different and there were different standards but maybe they felt that way back then. Who knows but being born again is not the same as being woke. I think they might have been thinking that the movie was woke because In the past women weren’t allowed to speak to their husbands like that or if a husband allowed it he would be thought weak but I’m not sure if that’s true

"Woke" refers to cultural Marxist ideas which come from the same absurd academic circles as critical race theory. The goal is to undermine culture from the inside out, because the they think the culture is a white supremacist patriarchy. The creepy Twix ad is "woke". It attacks gender norms, parenting, and has violence toward a traditional minded kid.

I'm sorry, I love Gina, but why does she come to work in her pj's. I know you made it and you can do what you want, but give ys viewers some respect and at least throw in a pair of jeans. You can see those baggy, f'd up pj bottoms. Even Bryon puts on something nice. Just saying. You're ipular, so just try to look nice.

Bald???? He talks about 3% of the Time, and usually he only adds REAL humor.... While GINA takes ALL the OXYGEN in the room -- EVERY SINGLE PODCAST.... Every story is more over-the-top than the last...."Oh My God I was in the supermarket yesterday....."

Is the movie woke? Or just as the left tends to push it in terms of which statues should be taken down, perhaps the article exclaiming the movie is woke may be overreacting a bit. Let's test that. Note that Adam's reaction to the clip was that the wife was a -bit sassy for back in the day-. That may be the heart of the woke objection... a recontextualiztion of how women would have behaved in that age. In woke parlance women cannot be shown as they were. Their behavior must be updated. For myself, the woke test for that movie would be if there is any instances of a 120lb female taking a swing at a 200lb male and dropping him with one punch. I strongly suspect that is in the movie. But if its not I am signing up to see it forthwith.
