It’s agreeable but not by Jake. He’s using it for clout, like everything else he does. It’s comical if anyone thinks he cares about fighter pay when he propositions his opponents to put up their purse to humiliate them. “Oh Jakes a great guy.” No, he’s winning right now and the way our minds are wired we gravitate towards winners because it’s how we want to see ourselves. As soon as he loses a fight (unless he retires early) none of this will matter.

It's really not tho. This shit has been being said for YEARS. You get into the UFC to make something of yourself and there's other promotions that will pay you more money the only thing is you won't be nearly as big if you do make it. I think the problem is people think and act like they are in the big leagues when they get into the UFC but they really aren't. Starting off fighting nobody's. When you make it to that top 15 your in the big leagues. I understand journeyman get paid shit. Now I would love to see them get paid 50k just for making it in to something as though as the UFC is but it's not gonna happen. The top fighters won't come together because they are making real fucking money. And the smart ones are set for like because the opportunity they have gotten from being a name

And also the UFC is worth more than the NFL just so you know.

I dont think Dana has too much too lose. Dana has had countless politicians, audits, and real lawsuits that actually would have ruined him. He won those cases or nothing illegal was found. Jake isnt really able to threaten Dana legally which is the only way to threaten him.

It will make investors think twice about putting money on UFC and smaller promotions can bandwagon on this by saying that their pay is much better than UFC. @@Ricardo7250 I think the buzz was there when the Reebok deal hit taking away fighter sponsors, but Bellator didnt get enough talent to jump. I follow Myles Jury who left for Bellator and he said once he left sposors dropped their rates cause of the drop in viewers for his Bellator career. I don't think fighters deserve half the revenue but around 35% sounds fair to keep as many doctors, officials, and security staffed. Only fighters unionizing will really make Dana sweat but they are too selfish to do it.

@@jakemiller270 That’s what I’ve been saying. The thing that really screwed the fighters over were the outfitter deals that got rid of sponsors on banners, shorts, and other gear. If the ufc themselves don’t want to pay the fighters more, let their sponsors cover the difference. The thing is though, those deals with Reebok and Venom were good for the ufc but bad for the fighters. If the ufc just stops with the outfitter deals and let the fighters wear their sponsors, I guarantee most of this talk about underpaying fighters will go away. And yea fighters getting 30-35% of the revenue is definitely fair. 50% is a lot because even nba players only get like 40-45% and they draw in way more viewers every year.

Ufc makes a lot of money they made over a billion this year but gave their fighters less than 200 million. They make 15-18% of the total money ufc makes. That's terrible it should atleast be 40%. 15-18% to athletes is like one of the worst ratios in sports currently like no other sport is that bad. Stop being ignorant. Ufc fighters are independent contractors. As in any profession, you get your own healthcare when you're self employed if you choose to.. They choose to be fighters, noone is forcing them to. Some even have other jobs, some of those jobs provide healthcare. Jake is dodging getting tested for some reason.

I think minimum pay being 12 k a fight is way too high. The stars on the maincard deserve atleast half of that and the early prelim fighters should get around a thousand so the starts can get 8-15 million.
