Hassan “Better” is subjective. They had the best fight tonight. So they were better. Are they better fighters? Better than men? How far you want to argue the point without it having context? Many times more exciting Many times more impressive Not strong enough to contend with men... and shouldn’t be So what’s your problem with someone saying they’re better? Preferring women’s fights is almost logic now. Usually more exciting. And they’re improving at a greater rate than the men. It’s cool.

Him and Ariel. I heard Ariel also pronouncing Weili's name as "Veili," which is the way she pronounces it with the northern Chinese accent. But they also pronounce Melbourne as "Melbun" with the Australian accent, which is a bit much, since that's still English.

@@kv8999 Yoel chose not to be aggressive because he was scared of Izzy's counter punching. He's the challenger. It's his job to take the title. Izzy is the champ. It's his job to DEFEND the title. It's more fun if both guys stand and trade, but if one person has more responsibility to be hyper aggressive it's always the challenger. Not sure why this is so difficult for people.

Don't expect objectivity from uncle Dana. It's all about money, protecting his stars and saying what's right. He didn't like Woodley as a champion as he wasn't easy to deal with, he was cringe and not selling PPVs. Check his post fight recap with Megan Olivi after Holm obliterated Rousey - he couldn't even hide his bias. Imagine Romero won - he's turning 43, doesn't speak English or have a big country behind him. Izzy's got the whole African continent and the Ausies/ Kiwis behind him.

@@justaperson9995 many fighters have managed to have an entertaining with Romero. All of them actually. Romero fought the exact same fight against Whittaker for instance and it was a great fight. Izzy was scared to engage.

Peoples Hernandez THAT was not a normal Romero fight in any way! Oh my god, that’s hilarious. Romero is considered a beast because he EXPLODES with KNOCK OUT power. He never did that. That was his worst performance to date. Izzy does not need to feed himself into Yoel’s hands. That would be possibly the stupidest thing he could do

I just watched the co main event that's gotta be the greatest fight I've seen in A long. No one can say Weili just beats cans now. I can't stand Joanna but she showed true grit having new respect for her. Not once did she even give any indication of wanting to quit Don't even care about the main event I heard so don't care to watch it. Both them guys got out performed by the woman

In Adesanyas pre fight Mac life interview he said the co main event with the women would steal the show and that it would be fight of the night and in my opinion he was bang on. Izzy did what he had to do and got the W but it’s like he knew how both the co main and the main event would go and predicted the outcomes to a tee. Coincidence? Maybe, but I don’t believe that, I believe his knowledge of mixed martial arts is above most and that’s how he predicted these outcomes. Full respect to every fighter tonight and I wish them all the best.

A lot of people said that. Lmao. You should see how Joanna fights. You should also see Weili's last 20 fights. Joanna is known for her toughness, cardio, and output. Weili is a power puncher and well rounded fighter that can stand in front of Joanna and trade. I'm glad to see that Joanna didn't lose her chin and got her weight cut on point. That's a dumb thing to say because there are so many variables that can cause a fight to go in any direction. That's a major reason why people the sport is like nothing else. There are too many factors.

Why are people being so hard on Yoel? He was the ONLY one going after his opponent throwing BIG shots trying to get that KO and throwing MASSIVE counter left hooks. Adesanya kept his distance and wouldn't engage in punching range much at all and kept kicking his legs... which is the smart thing to do... but it was Adesanya that wouldn't engage.

Izzy played the smart game..He saw Yoel was basically sitting and plotting waiting for Izzy to get too close and open up on him..He wasn't going to risk that so after he got clipped in the first he changed his game plan to distance management and only striking when necessary which is why he relied on his kick boxing so much
