Very intelligent choice of song given they are transitioning. Focusing on their other strengths ie harmonies. It's fortunate that they are not all transitioning at the same time. Mackie's voice has settled somewhat, Keifer is in the middle of it and Francis can still belt. The boys are showing great maturity in how they are handling this change.

Thanks for your reaction as always Dan, they are transitioning and only for the better, the voices definitely changes one ahead than the others but their abilities are there and since they've been doing this at a very young age, adjustments are not going to be that much of a problem, Mackie is getting the hang of his voice by now and still can do his insane riffs and runs, Francis still belting powerfully and Keifer with his soft and velvety voice, but their harmonies are just immaculate, such an awesome cover #mackiesteamph 🇵🇭

Your assessment is correct. You can hear The safeness with keifer and mackie. Keifer ‘s high note was not as pure as usual but his coaches are utilizing his low notes perfectly. The last three studio versions they used Francis more. A lot of the reason was mackie transitioning but now keifer is. Not sure when or if Francis has begun?
