I wasn't really surprised about the fact that it kept the 1/1 scale. After all, the Real Grade Gundams were able to have amazing part separation while keeping the 1/144 scale.

So this is basically the Real Grade line of LBXs. Also if I'm not mistaken, Bandai want to make a revival of Danball Senki.

@@dripclanka4469 They already did it now. But sadly it's what I expected. They only re-released the first season kit, adding General and removing Inbit and Deqoo R. Some kits got some improvement but they didn't include the part to make the dice. We did get Hyper Function Odin, which is great. But at what cost? No re-release if HF Ifreet. In the end it was probably just hyping Soukou Musume. You can search it if you don't know what that is, but basically it's a "moefication" of LBX which is not that great tbh. And as of right now, no sign of them re-releasing other kits. The only thing remains from this revival is the first season of the anime which is still being uploaded in Bandai Spirits Channel. Again, no sign of W and Wars coming.

@@bit0016 Yup, there won't be any restock of lbxs kit til next year, idk if Bandai will remake W or Wars, but looks like thats it for the original series

any idea if the LBX hyper function is dead? there are still so many great characters that need to be made... Achilles D9, O-Legion.. but I guess any transformable ones will be hard to execute

I want to mention this for the longest time, but you kinda seem to miss out on a more complete version of this Hyper Function model. There was a version of Hyper Function Achilles that comes with the Cover Pads of AX-00, complete with the Steel Staff weapon. However, the text labels in his front skirt and feet are marking seals. I gotta admit, you kinda missed out on a bit of a history lesson, as Ban didn't get the Achilles armor until Episode 3, and the cover pads were even used in a few episodes. By the way, they are rereleasing older LBX this year with reinforced joints, and made AX-00 much easier to obtain, complete with the weapons he lacked when he was only released as a bundle with the PSP game, and still didn't have them when turned clear for the release of BOOST, its enhanced remake. All of this in preparation for its mecha musume version Soukou Musume, which was long planned in 2017 for a 2018 release, but was rebuilt from the ground up when it was not received well enough.

unfortunately no, you would have to take the whole arm or leg part. only hyper functions have removable armor
