I always notice the shoes too 😂 but Idols in general usually use all sorts of random shoes for dance practices because they always have different outfits and shoes when they perform, I think they are used to performing with different types of flooring, outdoors and indoors, I don’t know how they do it tbh

San, Yunho, Yeosang, Wooyoung and Mingi were all born in 1999, Seonghwa and Hongjoong in 1998 and Jongho the youngest in 2000! It's pretty special to have an idol group with such a close age range, definitely seems to have made them tighter. 13:35 I think he was joking here (I hope!) But it might surprise you to know that San is actually pretty insecure about his face, his sharp facial features are not the beauty standard in Korea, he and Mingi are actually the lowest ranked in the group in terms of looks by the members themselves and they tend to be teased about being ugly the most. It's hard to believe because... Look at him.. But he said that Atinys only find him attractive/handsome because we're fans and have a biased opinion lol, goes to show you how different the beauty standards can be in different countries. I personally think they're all damn good looking guys but Yunho, Seonghwa, and Yeosang are who they consider the most attractive by K-beauty standards, just an interesting (I think so anyway) little titbit of information I thought of when I saw this! Matz (Hongjoong and Seonghwa) are 98, then we have five in the 99z line (Yeosang, San, Wooyoung and Mingi, Yunho) and Jongho is born in 98. Jongho said on a radio broadcast that he was originally supposed to do a ballad together with Yunho and there were only units of 2, so the idea wasn't exactly to do it by age from the get go. I think the units ended up like this also because of the relationships the members have with each other. Mingi explicitly asked to do Youth with Yunho and WooSanSang are all three really really close and in each others business haha For the tattoos, it's definitely a broadcasting thing too, but in Ateez some members have said they aren't into tattoos. The only ones who seem into tattoos are Wooyoung and Hongjoong. San has a friendship tattoo with Wooyoung but he's said he won't get anymore because he doesn't like tattoos. The other 4 don't have tattoos at all. KQ doesn't seem to give them rules on the ink and on broadcast they also don't cover them up since they can be covered by clothes, however sometimes they show! Jongho visiting is always a cute add on. But he seems to only visit San's set ahahah The shoes... Sani ALWAYS wears those fancy ones... like always... all the time...he even said it's his favorite to wear... i don't get how he keeps on dancing in them hahaha I guess a point may be that he wants to practice in the kinds of shoes he would wear on stage? more idols don't have tattoos because tattooing people is quite literally illegal in korea 😭. there's a negative connotation to being tattooed as well, which is why idols have to cover them up on broadcast- though i think times are slowly but surely changing and some of the social stigma is lessening.
