The chorus choreo was actually done by Taeyong, leader of the entire NCT super group who centers at the very beginning of the video and as the chorus begins. He's an amazing choreographer and felt the original chorus choreo needed improvement.

Sm artist keep their individual styles, old groups are not strict in choreos and not complicated vs when theyre just rookies, theyre tired bec. Their schedule is super packed ( world tour with nct127 and nct as a whole, nct dream then sm town concert😢 and in between comebacks, and another 127 worldtour coming Yikes), my fav nct 127 choreo is firetruck, nct dream- my 1st n last and we go up Nct u - boss, 90s love, 7th sense and their recent baggy jeans You should check out 7th sense and baggy jeans and analyze their evolution😂

Well, that was intense. This is probably up there with my favorite reaction videos. Very informative and insightful. Where to start: Mark was the one wearing the wool cap, and I was very impressed that you recognized him. He’s actually my favorite dancer in all of NCT, mainly because he seems to have a “groove” that I really love. As others have explained, they’re down a member due to injury, so they’re stuck with an even-number formation. These guys are (in)famous for doing the same move in slightly different ways: I remember one dancer almost going nuts when he first started reacting to them, because their moves weren’t synchronized enough for his taste (he got over it after watching more of their vids). I didn’t notice the edit at first, but once I did I found it disappointing; they probably went through the whole routine at least twice, they should have just gone with the better of the two. I also like playing a game called “where have I seen that move before.” The choreo for a song called “Sticker” (one of their most divisive and successful singles) has moves from 127 songs going back years, and Mark’s travel across the stage here reminds me of another song of theirs. I like that you noticed that they were tired. I also respect the fact that they released this knowing that it wasn’t perfect; it is a dance “practice” after all. No surprise that in the Performance Video they look much more tight and energetic. I think you’re going to have fun going through their catalogue. Enjoy!

Thanks for analyzing NCT 127's choreo. I hope you can check more of their choreos. Other sub groups of NCT are NCT Dream(2 members belong to NCT 127 too, Mark & Haechan), NCT U(rotational unit, members are chosen based on the song) and WayV.

Watching some of your older NCT reactions. Thanks for this! NCT's leader Taeyong choreographed the 1st & 2nd chorus himself in just one hour (1:33 to 1:57 part). You made an interesting connection because Taeyong loves Afro beats and was a judge for the first season of Street Woman Fighter, so he has definitely been paying attention and probably used these things as inspiration for creating this choreo. Also, it's interesting that you talked about the challenges of formations for an even number of people, because Taeyong talked about the same thing. They usually have nine, but one member Taeil was injured at the time. I don't remember what was happening at the time, but I do know that often these boys are worked to the extreme with little rest, and this could also be a factor if you are noticing fatigue.

I think something fun to note is that they are missing Taeil & he was in the MV version which would lead me to think that the choreo had to be modified from an odd to even number formation. OR it was always intended as an 8 person choreo with prior knowledge Taeil would sit out.

Thanks so much for a very interesting analysis! It was honestly refreshing to have a objective viewpoint. As others have noted, this is the first time I’ve ever seen cuts in one of their dance practices, personally I was not pleased about it 😫 . But yes they’re definitely tired, the Parade dance practice is from the same night so they must’ve been practicing multiple choreos. They have some amazing dance practices in their arsenal, some of the most interesting to me are Favorite, Simon Says, and Kick It. Glad you liked the song!

NCT127 in particular focus more on their own flavors and styles rather than "cleanliness". And they don't normally cut their dance practices. In the obvious cut you can tell the red shirt came unbuttoned and then it is buttoned after the cut so I am assuming that was the reason. Probably interfered with the dance. They have great stamina and wouldn't cut because they were tired from seeing them live. Also they have a member missing due to injury so the choreo is probably leaving space for him.

I applaud SM for treating a dance practice into a dance practice. I literally saw some practices having edits n cuts for no reason.

well first of all thanks for reacting them,sec nct especialy 127 known cor their individual style they are doing a choreo but in their own way? u know what i mean, they do the same choreo same move but in their own way probably u see in their live performances, about sync they are a perfect group to be known as a synchronization, but in here specialy in this clib amd this dance practic they are really tired, they had a live after this dance practic they are fawking tired, one of their members are missing coz he is injured, and they had to done it in a short time so thats why u can see some of them look tired or not doing a choreo as u wanted, but imagine doing a choreo about an hours how u feel? of course tired, but i hope u watch thier alot of damc practic and u know them and u got waht theyr doing , and srsly ur the only one that im see to react kpop choreo dances im so glad for it, maybe they are not yr like catch ur eyes but they are doing their job so well in a good way im an nct fan not saying this coz im a fan but never ever seen a group as much as nct been sync amd doing a choreo in that good way and singing live too thank u also quick note i wish u did a dance practic cute like how they work how they doing their job u know what i mean )

That said, this comeback was quite rushed. 4 of these members were just wrapping up Baggy Jeans promo. (You should see the Baggy Jeans dance practice which was just their rehearsal before their concert.) Also, I think they may have had to adjust the choreo on short notice since they’re short one member due to injury.

Yeah nct's been doing 1000 things this year so it's totally possible that they're really tired. If you wanna get the most 127 song of all 127 songs then you should check out kick it, it's the queen. Also my personal favorite is Sticker but just a warning it's hit or miss for a lot of people. Also not very important but Taeyong (in the black tight t-shirt) was a judge in swf season 1 (he was introduced with kick it so you might have seen a part of that choreo before, like i said it is the queen so there's a good chance that you've seen the chorus part at some point) Oh! Also also Taeyong has a solo! It's called shalala and the choreo is pretty cool in case you wanna check it put, he's one of NCTs main dancers along with Ten who's also amazing.

You should react to 90's love by them. It is my favourite choreo by NCT and I feel like you would love it.
