About the top 4 comment: I do believe, comparing to the other girls in Secret Story of the Swan that Sakura was the 4th best dancer. Now, I can't compare the other girls in the other eras because that's literally the point of the video But anyway, we all got to have different opinions. What happens when you hang out with Chaeyeon too often:

a lot of people oversaturated how "bad" sakura was at dancing like yes, she wasn't the best but she wasn't the worst either either way she improved so much

We need remember that Sakura didn’t have a professional training in dancing skill like Korean members, so in a very short time, she really makes a fast progress and keeps pace with other members. She’s very talent and her efforts are much appreciated!!!!

Sakura reminds me of Hwasa in this aspect. They are not really good dancer, but somehow their stage presence makes you think their techniques are better than it really are lol. Plus, they never show sign of them struggling in dance department in their facials, hence why it is more convincing to see them as good dance performer at the first glance.

My sister is a rlly good dancer and often critisize idols dancing and i was shocked when she said that sakura REALLY improved a lot.

I have always liked Sakura. Lots of people hate her for taking the spotlight on Produce 48, but that doesn't take away from the fact that she always worked hard to improve even if she had no dance skills. I'm glad to see that to this day she still wants to improve her dancing and singing. In my personal opinion I would not put her in a fourth place, I would put her in a fifth place (formerly held by Yujin, but she did not have many spotlights in SSOTS, she was still radiant). Yes, she still has some things to improve but I really think she improved in this last comeback, especially I think the agency did well to give her a position in dance break. She also worked hard to improve his voice, you have to give her credit for that.

Not so sure if she is actually top 4 in IZ*ONE, but def top 6 for me. She improved a lot.

She could have coasted on her visuals and popularity. No one would have given her too much hate because her performances are still fun to watch. But instead she choose to rise to the challenge after seeing the gaps in her skills. This side of her is the most charming. I hope she signs with WM instead of going back to AKB because she would be a perfect lead dancer to Chaeyeon's main.

an opinion: fiesta is much harder than ssos. Sakura did not start to improve during SSOS but Fiesta. But it can't be shown clearly since Fiesta and SSOS demands different things. FIESTA: small scale hand movements, proper finger formation, body angles, harder body coordination specifically feet and elbow, up and down movements, center of gravity should be maintained for the whole song, posture, harder feet and hand flexibility, isolation SSOS: proper angles, center of gravity maintained but with breaks, harder body isolation (top movement while isolated below), posture, hand flexibility, equally matched with Fiesta in body angles while SSOS requires the same and more it is more focused on power than details. so, I think that Sakura improved alot in Fiesta before SSOS. Its just that she could not show it properly. :>>>

imo, her improvement did not start from ssots but it was actually gradually improving. and the improvement was most especially in fiesta era (after the hiatus). it was most noticeable in ssots because of the choreography - since imo it also highlights power (esp the dance break)

Yena (during PD48, named as one of the dance avengers which is the Sorry Not Sorry team as well) 4. Eunbi (during PD48, named as one of the dance avengers which is the Sorry Not Sorry team) 5. Chaewon (2nd to "lead" the dance break for LVER performance on MAMA) 6. Yuri (her movements have more power, just like her voice) 7. Wonyoung 8. Tomi 9. Minju 10. Nako 11. Kwangbae 12. Kkura Violeta era: 1. Chaeyeon (the Feather) 2. Eunbi (danced solo at an awards show) 3. Yena (known as a powerful/strong member) 4. Kwangbae (improved a lot, but sadly still has some awkwardness while she dances)

I watched more of Sakura's fancams after this vid and I agree with you 100%. She is one of the best dancers in SSOTS. She's gotten so much more control over her movements and she doesn't under dance anymore. And when she hits, she hits hard. I also agree with you when you say that a little bit more fluidity can help with her performances. But overall, her glow up is incredible - one of the best glow ups in kpop.

It's a bit of a mystery why she chose the idol path. Apparently she's pretty smart and she was studying to become a doctor.

I'm really glad to see she's gained confidence in her dancing as well, since it was something she was very insecure about (I'm not saying because of JuriSaku rivalry pushed on her but...) now she's much more confident and its gorgeous. I always found Sakura's dancing very interesting! You can see her experience with performing on stage, she completely enjoys being Sakura the Idol, which makes the viewer enjoy her perfomances, too. But at the same (and especially in Produce) you could tell the lack in training and her bad dancing. Of course Sakura is not as good as most of the other Korean members, they had more training. But as you can see, it's just a matter of time to see improvement in dancing. What no one can take from Sakura, and what really shined in their debut time the most (when people would constantly compare Japanese and Korean Line), is her powerful presence on stage, thanks to her years of performing in front of fans. I saw most of the comments where it is written that, though Sakura has improved a lot she can't surpass dancers like Chaewon and Yujin. You people know what? I agree with your opinion but I disagree too. That's because Sakura was never been trained like Chaewon and Yujin with their own company. She became an idol for 7 years before joining Iz*one but she used to train herself, no trainers for her. And in the age of 22, that's also in only 2 years, she improved this much in dancing; for me, she really surpassed Chaewon and Yujin and other dancers of Iz*one too except Chaeyeon. If you don't agree with my words then Truth is bitter for you.

She definitely improved a lot! but for me, the ranking the top 5 is Chaeyeon, Eunbi, Yena, Chaewon and Yujin. I've been stanning izone since predebut, before ssots I never thought I'd be consider her 6th in izone! Though comparing Sakura to Yuri/Wonyoung/Minju/Nako/Hitomi. I love Hyewon but I do think i'd place her last. I If Sakura went from a 4 to a 7.5, Minju/Wonyoung/Yuri/Nako/Hitomi might have gone from a 5.5 to a 7.5 in my eyes. Sakura definitely improved the most, but the rest has also been improving a lot :)

Both sakura and Minju have incredible potential in dance, yet their companies do nothing ab it 😅😅 For example- minju performed in the ot5 version of Rumor and *did not underperform* at any point. And kkura blended in almost perfectly in the ssots dance break.. Both can also read really well the movement and rhythm, and have amazing stage presence.. if given the right training they both can be in the dance line of their future groups, specially minju, since it comes natural to her
