Tbh some of the select were good enough to be on the elite. Im pretty sure abby asked to get kamryn to join the elite team but the producers said no since her mom didn't make enough drama. So many ppl who came for a few episodes during the show were robbed.

my theory is that the producers made abby have 2 different group dances fight to win and whoever wins stays. abby has said before that she loves her girls like her own kids so i think she gave them the more dark emotional piece so they would move the judges and so they would purposely win

I love the select teams dance, there technique was beautiful, but Amber alert has a meaning, it involves alot of acting, and I feel like that is what made it amazing and alot better than the other dance, because when it doesn't have a storyline it's kinda boring and not that interesting.
