The problem with her was that at this stage especially, which she was like in her early 20s, the mothers walked all over her and pushed her around a lot. Substituting for one week is one thing. But she needs more life experience to run a whole team.

MsJubjubbird it’s not that gia doesn’t have enough experience. some people might say she’s a pushover but she was actually very smart for not making a scene with kelly, it would’ve caused a lot of unnecessary drama with the moms and kelly, and it would’ve wasted a lot of time when they could’ve spent doing the group

poshyplayz girl have you seen how big the groups are at real dance competitions some of them take up the the whole stage even have 20-30 dancers at a time

Yeah, nine girls isn't a large group. The studio that I competed for had a competitive troupe that was made up of at least forty members. We would do production numbers when we were that size. However, the competitive troupe was broken down into smaller groups. We really didn't have a junior, senior, or mini division with the main competitive dance troupe...only the competitive acro troupe were referred to as the mini tumblers, junior powerteam, and the senior powerteam. With the main dance competitive troupe at my old dance school, we were divided into groups that were numbers (case in point: I was in group four the first two years and I was in group six the final year. I wasn't in competition long. Started off as a teen and my knees sucked by the time I was eighteen years old). These groups were mostly put into small catagories at competition. The only time a group would be entered in a large group was maybe if there were more than ten members in it. Maybe more...however that didn't really happen unless two groups were put together to create a number. The group I was in was always put in a small catagory. First year had only four members (well, we didn't start off with four. I think we started off with six or seven initially, and ended in four. The following year was made up of only five members. The last year was made up of nine members). Of course, I would like to point out this was the case at least twenty years ago (as 2000 was the last year I competed in)

For most of the competition I've been to groups with 10 or more are considered large groups. Its weird but nothing we can do about it
