Same My nana says that to me each time I used to visit her in the hospital she died from bladder cancer I couldn’t see her more because of high school she keeps asking me “how long are you staying here for” I remember telling her I’ll sleep with you in the hospital on Friday nights but when my mom was about to pick me up I checked on my nana and she passed away on that day I fell asleep with her, I called the doctors in the hallway for help about my nana and they said she’s gone they told me to tell my mom because my nana is the mom of my mom, she left me a beautiful sapphire blue diamond engagement ring to me and told me to wear it whenever you feel like it. She passed away in 2018 when I was 16

nia is easily one of the strongest girls on that team. she barely ever cried after years of getting degraded by abby. she was there start to finish with the elite team, she was so hardworking, almost always spoke for herself, and was always there to support and be kind to all the girls, she is amazing

AND, the show started when Nia was like already 10, but Nia has been at ALDC since she was 3. So it was at least 10 years before Abby saw her cry. So even more impressive.

I greatly admire how holly has raised nia. She’s so polite, mature and graceful. I love how she spoke for herself to tell Abby about the situation with her grandfather, at that age you’d rather your mom to lay it out for you but even on the verge of tears she talks so mannerly and grown up. Those two were a breath of fresh air on this show. Neither had a bad bone in their body

And they couldn’t rehearse the solo without the stoppers bc it could hurt Paige as she was dancing.

Abby wants them to be able to take a critique. If these girls want to be professional dancers nobody is going to hold their hand. Coming to Abby herself, telling her what's happening and that she may have to cut the trip short if things get worse, that's what a professional does. You can tell Abby is so proud of Nia for how she handled this, she didnt have Holly do it. She didnt refuse to go.

What I will say is that, other than Jojo, Nia is the only other one of these girls that still has a relationship with Abby and ALDC. That's a testament to the type of person she is and to the people who raised her. She's an amazing soul and no matter the bad things Abby put her through, she appreciates everything that Abby and ALDC did for her.

Blamed her for Maddies bad posture Brooke: Insulted her regularly threatened her many times Paige: Threw a chair at/in the same room as her which luckily missed her. Called her names Payton: Kicked her out and brought her back 24/7 Chloe: Insulted her eye, called her names, verbally abusive Mackenzie: Called her names, verbally abusing her. Jojo: Same as Mack Z.

Nia is so strong and such a sweetheart. I always loved her. 🥺 I loved her so much. And i think when Abby steps away from being a cold hearted person and puts herself on a human level it's very sweet. I loved how sweet she was to Nia. She really was a great teacher but she was SO mean much of the time.

I lost both of my grandfathers a few years ago, so I know exactly how Nia felt in that episode. It’s never easy losing a loved one, especially when it’s someone who you truly love so lunch and when something bad is happening to them that can’t be controlled.
