Lauren Bryer ummm the producers influenced some of the more controversial numbers like Electricity, Fantastic, The Last Dance, and one that Abby shot down where one of the girls would be portraying teen pregnancy. Nia’s dances before the show always had an ethnic undertone. And the dance moms uncovered also talks about Abby saying some racist things off-camera telling Nia she “didn’t want any little Tooties on the team” in reference to Tootie, the only black cast member on “The Facts of Life”. Also complaining about how the bottom of Camryn’s feet/palm of her hands were lighter than the rest of her skin, which led camryn to feel like Abby was making passive aggressive attacks against her blackness.

AmberCant DoAnything Just because there ‘not as good as’ her didn’t mean they should be compared. That’s like comparing two students in a regular class, saying they need to be smarter. Weather their top or bottom of the class, it’s not right to tear down a child like that.

@@myieshacuthbert9827 but it doesn't look right for a dancer to be dancing with someone who isn't as good as them, the point of the competition is to win and they won't win like that, you can't compare this with students because students aren't working together to accomplish something (except like a group project where a student who isn't as good as the other will bring the grade down)

Am i the only one who's noticing that Nia always plays people of color? Like, not just black, but she did this number and the Bollywood one, too. None of the other girls are cast in ethnic roles, and Abby seems to lump them all in together and assign them to Nia.

That was rude of Holly,if anyone had said that about Nia or the other kids their moms would have blown a fuse. I get they are not happy but they do not have to bring another kid down or downplay their success. Maddie is a good dancer and that's what it is. Abbey's attitude is rotten and that's that.

@@Teachingtea so you are telling me that she has the same expression when she is doing a beautiful lyrical dance and a hunted one? Or a tap or jazz? When she does dark piece the whole room goes quiet. She is fluid with her emotions. And it's not about the song,it's the emotion she brings into it. I guess in the Sia , Chandelier video it was the same expression too. She is a beautiful dancer and no amount of negative comment can take that away.

Maddie is not the best dancer, like everyone is saying that, I know that you didn't say it, but I just wanted to say it😂😂 A lot of people just focus on technique but the technique is not the only thing you should focus on, also the ability to do other genres of dance!!! Maddie is lyrical and sometimes historical, but the differences between Maddie and the other girls is that the other girls *can change emotion when they dance* and we could see all the girls do other style of dance and not only lyrical(just my opinion)(No hate towards nobody)

Maddie is insane at hip hop and very underrated in acro. Nia is better than her at acro but Maddie is not far behind. Every other style basically Maddie is better. Plus she has better technique. The faces she used in this video when she demonstrated for Nia were different than her lyrical dances. Maddie is WAY better than Nia...

Thank you Holly I been saying for the longest Maddie do the same face in every dance she does. That doesn't make her a better dancer than the other girls. Chloe a better dancer and technique is way more flawless. That was one of the reason Abby made sure to tear Chloe down so much so she started doubting her self.

I just thought of something and I know someone somewhere has probably said the same thing but I personally haven't read it... The way that Abby teaches with always yelling, pushing and being blunt/rude. That might be the way that Maddie learns and strives best with but the other girls may of needed to be taught with a different style and than maybe than they would have actually started beating Maddie a lot more than that have!

I think what Abbey could have done was, each week create dances that suites each girl ,and make them the lead. The girls know their week and bring their best to it. All these comparison is annoying, irritating and unproductive.

Tbh muddie is just an above average dancer and this show made her to seem more that what she is. It worked kudos to abby and life time but chole, kalani, sophia, brynn just name a few are much higher level then her. Yet they get dumb down choreography. Holly said it the best in order to Promote Muddie she puts down other kids.

All i kept seeing was maddie making the same face her expression doesnt change . Abby doesnt believe in any one but maddie but I dont see what is special about maddie besides the fact she does dance well but her expressions don't change she always makes the same face. I could tell Nia wasn't getting fusterated. But of course Abby picks on Nia as always its ridiculous.

Brynn had not joined the studio then and Kalani as well. And I agree they are good but Maddie is good too.dont downplay her success. Plus there are a thousand kids who can dance better than all the ALDC kids combined in the world. Abbey cannot talk about kids she doesn't know. There are great dancers who don't have the oppurtunity to show case their talent. Thank goodness for social media

The girls are beautiful in there own ways don't compare them to Maddie they have there own skills that Maddie doesn't examples: Chloe has the grace Kenzie has the tricks Nia has the sass Kendall is beautiful But all you adore is Maddie give them a chance to be there own special self and being compared to Maddie but im not hating on anyone

i just have to speak for everyone else, the moms are jealous of maddie and what she gets. if they have that much of a problem they can talk to abby about it, not attack melissa for how amazing her child is.
