She stands up for her a lot. But yelling and screaming is not her style. She gets things through strategy and also thinks of the long term costs of her actions (ie if I push for Macenzie will she and Maddie be in the back row for the next three weeks out of Abby's spite).

Melissa has her own way of fighting for things. she's not combative and doesn't yell and scream at people but she does know how to get what she thinks is best for her kids. She got Mackenzie a spot on the View when it was about to be taken away, Mackenzie got a spot on Dance Moms when she wasn't even meant to be in the cast, Maddie a solo every other week and the lead most weeks, her kids were on Abby's good books the whole time they were there and MAckenzie got a music video made by Abby. And her way has been proven to be far more effective than directly confronting Abby.

There’s like two paths you can take to get your kid somewhere at the ALDC 1. Fight for your kid and make sure she gets all the training and practice they need inside and outside the ALDC rehearsal time and make sure your kid puts in all the effort they need to catch Abby’s eye OR 2. Don’t fight against Abby, stay on her good side and still make sure your kid has the talent and puts in the effort to catch Abby’s eye with your kids talent while also not shoving your child down Abby’s throat. Both paths work fine

The best is a combination of both. Make sure your kid is practising and training as much as possible and putting in loads of effort. But also stay on Abby's good side, be respectful to her and let her do her job without interfering and don't shove your kid in Abby's face. Directly fighting with Abby makes her combative and resentful

First of all Melissa changed a lot for Abby😂 And I think Lynn has a point because the other moms are encouraging her to speak up to Abby and whenever the elite moms did that in the past they would get in trouble and make Abby mad, so Lynn is doing the opposite and her kids being allowed to be in the dance.

Lynn was absolutely right! Season 6 onward made the elite moms look absolutely bitter and miserable. The truth of the matter is they did sacrifice their peace and character in order to stay with the ALDC and I'm glad Lynn was determined not to do the same.

I think Lynn was doing the right thing not fighting with Abby and if she fought with her she wouldn’t have let her dance and the moms would be a looooooot happier if they stopped encouraging other moms to have fights with Abby
