THIS RIGHT HERE, was the exact reason why I didn’t like this reunion. I thought it was gonna be all happy and sweet with them talking about their childhood with each other and dance. What we’ve been waiting for all these years is, for it to be centered around THE GIRLS. But nope, they just had to throw in the drama. This is also the exact reason why Maddie, Kenzie, and Nia weren’t part of it. Cause they knew this was gonna happen. Like what’s the point of bringing up old drama that was already put to rest YEARS AGO.

Why would Kalani and JoJo be invited to a surprise party thrown for PAIGE'S (not, Maddie, not Melissa) birthday?? The party was for PAIGE, a girl who met Kalani once before this and JoJo never. The people at the party were people PAIGE knew and danced with since she was 2. If the party were for Maddie/Mackenzie/Kendall/Nia, sure, whatever, invite them all, but Paige doesn't even know Kalani or JoJo so why would they think they should get an invite to that party?? The entitlement in that backroom is crazy!......Also Christi just needs to pipe down and butt out, this isn't about her.

It was deliberate, by Melissa , the Zieglers and Nia. Paige didnt understand why they even had a party for when they never had before and she actually felt bad that they were not invited. I guess Nia forgot about all the times she was left out and how she felt. As far as Christi she DOES NOT have to pipe down , it is her business,

I think that’s why Paige and Brooke didn’t say much and when they did it was to Melissa and the Zieglers defence. Melissa and Kelly are even very close it’s just that Christi is still bitter and can’t let go she always thinks Melissa has another motive, when Melissa has moved on and isn’t interested in the drama, they aren’t looking for anymore fame and attention from this show. It’s Christi that can’t let go. I think it makes it awkward for Kelly. On her podcast with Christi after the reunion aired, she seemed to be backing Melissa more when Christi was trying to paint the ulterior motive image, she said she was going to host something in her hotel room and Melissa offered maddies house.

Sure, let's invite two members of the team to Paige's birthday party who she doesn't even know. This is ridiculous. The party was for PAIGE not for the reunion or anything to do with it. I swear they were just stirring up shit to hate on the Ziegler's. Melissa didn't even plan the party (Nia did) and yet she's getting blamed for it. In all honesty, I wanna know how much they paid Christi to say this because ain't no way she's still this petty and bitter towards Melissa ten years later. This was the first time in years that all of the og girls (+Kendall) have been in the same state and it happened to be around Paige's birthday. There wasn't any malicious intent behind it and all of this drama is just a way to try and hurt the Ziegler's. I've never seen anything so blatant.

All the people here talking how this comment is spot on, but its literally not. First of all this episode literally showed only small part how Christi was "bitchy", but mostly all of the moms agreed with her. Kelly even tried to call Melissa too but Jess said she would leave then. If u listened why Christi made that comment you would understand it. Another thing about the "victim mentality". Chloe literally didn't want to be part of it at first, beacuse of people like you in these comments, who say she plays the victim. Literally even Abby has admitted how some people were doing things behind their backs to play everything out for their favors. Im happy that all of the people, who were part of that, had their chance to express themselves, but let's be honest still, it was pretty much orchestrated the way, the show wanted it to be. Still showing edited clips not how the things actually were. It's just suprised me how many people still don't see the bigger picture and defend so many mean spirited actions, while there are people like Christi&Kelly who have admitted and apologized for most of the things they were wrong about. Can't say the same about some other people though🤣🤔

Melissa is a manipulative woman but Christi too. Both are 50% responsable of their child trauma (50% for abby + production). Let's be honest. Melissa did a lot of bad things to keep abby's favor. Christi did a lot of bad things to demolish Ziegler leadership. Both wanted their child to be the star of the show. Melissa won and Christi continue to act like a sore loser. I just feel bad for their kids.

This is a fair comment. Yes both of them have been manipulative, here tho, this is purely Christi. The issue is Christi can not let go, to me it’s very obvious Melissa and the Zieglers have moved on and have no interest in drama or gaining anymore fame from the show. But Christi is still holding them too it all these years later. It’s like one sided beef at this point. For a grown women to go to the lengths of joining a FaceTime call when they weren’t even present, just to throw shade at a family, you can’t deny the bitterness, it seemed to me she was the only one with a ulterior motive here, trying ti create a narrative. She is very manipulative to even try and paint that picture when it was just a nice gesture from them since they were all finally in the same place and if we Paige’s birthday. I know Melissa isn’t a saint she’s done some sneaky things but I don’t think she’s the one in the wrong here. Christi wasn’t always right in the past either, Chloe and Christi were backed by the fandom a lot more than Maddie, and the producers loved Chloe. Abby was maddies biggest support system but production weren’t.

1. Kendall is talking about it being weird but keep in mind this was the first time the girls were all together in the same state. 2. Jojo is no threat to the girls. 3. Paige has never met JoJo and was not close with Kalani...WHY WOULD THEY BE INVITED TO THE PARTY? P.S I actually commented something very similar on Christi's post last night. She replied and said there was more to the story that we don't know but when someone else told her to stop beating around the bush and say it because it was weird behavior she deleted the comments all together.

I’m just wondering when people are going to wake up and realise Christi has always plotted against the zieglers. She to this day is bitter and manipulative. I was so WTF when Christi said that, because it was the next day they didn't have the facts cause I am loving that Christi went with the narrative that Melissa organised it, yet it was at Maddie's place not Melissa's (I know that that doesn't mean that she couldn't have organised it). Agree that I didn't see anything suss about who was invited and who wasn't, why would they invite JoJo when Brooke's only experience of her was JoJo blasting Brooke for the short that she did about Abby coming up as a friend suggestion. They barely met Kalani and that wasn't a great day for the Hylands. I noticed that Kendall was like that for a couple of things that were throwing shade at the Zieglers, such mean girl vibe to do that when it is someone you have said is your friend.

"Baby sat while Kira was pregnant" is generous. No, Kira actually just wanted to get rid of Kalani for awhile to spend more time with her boyfriend (like half a year). People still really think Maddie and Kenzie aren’t victims? Maybe they were Abby’s favourites but they sure weren’t the producers. People still think Christi isn’t bitter? She has always played that victim role and tried her best to make the Zieglers look bad out of bitterness, Chloe has adopted a similar mindset with the victim role, as its what got them so far and the most support from fans, lifetime enabled this too while always doing everything to make the zieglers come off bad. Lifetime literally asked out right do you think there was an ulterior motive as to why Maddie held a gathering for Paige’s birthday. They know what they are doing and it’s ever likely they didn’t want to do this, look at how they are being treated when they aren’t even there? A lot of this reunion seemed passive aggressive towards the Zieglers. The only girls that seem sweet and genuine to me and Paige and Brooke, they hold no bitterness. Chloe is sweet but there is an undertone that not many people pick up on because she carries herself so well.

Melissa has always been an instigator, even in the first season she showed how much she didn’t care that Maddie was so sick and clearly said her stomach hurt, Melissa yelled at her “you never miss dance Maddie!” And the poor girl went back out and danced! Or when Kenzie couldn’t make up a dance next to Asia, Melissa was mortified and yanked her backwards yelling at her “you do it all the time at home, you’re adorable!,” (adorable at home that is) I just hope that Maddie and Mackenzie don’t get lumped into Melissa’s stuff. Those two also went through hell, just seeing the signs of stress that were shown even from the very first episode. Abby has a lot to answer to and even after going to prison, having cancer and being in a wheelchair, she still did season 8 and hadn’t changed a bit! 🤯

Melissa seemed to care about her children, although she may have made questionable decisions. It's worth noting that reality TV, like Dance Moms, is heavily edited. In Season One, many scenes were scripted or manipulated. Some cast members even admitted to being told what to say. Given this, it's hard to trust the accuracy of every scene. While some incidents were confirmed, not all were, and some were likely edited to portray certain individuals in a negative light. Therefore, it's challenging to determine the full truth, especially with producers known for questionable practices.

See, this is probably why the Zieglers didn’t come on. They knew the fake petty drama the producers would try to start again, and that everyone would antagonize them, especially Maddie and Melissa. Nia was the one who planned the birthday party, not Melissa, and Paige doesn’t even know Jojo or Kalani. It makes no sense to invite them, since the party was for Paige’s birthday. Also, all the og’s (and Kendall) happened to be around in the same state at that time, so Nia decided to do it. Gosh, people need to stop attacking those three people and move on. Not to mention how crazily petty and bitter Christi is. I’m sure it’s fake, considering she said her and Melissa were on good terms now and that Maddie and Chloe were talking again. But if her hatred towards Melissa is real, which it very well could be, it’s sad that she would get on good terms with her and then immediately throw her under the bus again. Even if that whole thing is fake, I’ve still always found Christi to be annoying and toxic to the people around her. Don’t get me wrong, Melissa certainly wasn’t right in every situation, but neither was Christi. There was no malicious intent on this party and it was just set up so all the OG’s (and Kendall) could see each other again. Nothing wrong with that.

This has been confirmed by literally every single one of the original moms, she was constantly working the system and stepping on other kids to get her daughter ahead. And yall wonder why Maddie won so much even pre-show? Shes talented but she had a LOT of extra help and this has been confirmed. And you guys still think that she is telling the full truth and taking accountability for what she did? She is not and never has. Christy has every right to be upset and I will never 100% defend Christy because she has made mistakes as well and sometimes can be overdramatic, but she’s 100% right when she says that Melissa is still sneaky and that could have come from good intentions when it comes to the kids, but also Melissa could’ve used it for her own intent as well. Stop acting like that’s not true when we all know that it is and she has a long history of it.

I think your mindset is quite sad, why would you assume ulterior motives, of course the girls haven’t been together in years, they all have different lives and commitments, this was the first time that they were all in the same place at the same time because they all came into the state to attend the reunion, why wouldn’t they want to meet up? Kelly herself said that the reason it was at Maddie’s house was because she was planning to do the birthday in a hotel room but Melissa offered Maddie’s house so they would have more space. Melissa and Paige are close, Paige was featured on Melissa’s YT channel, why wouldn’t she offer their homes for her to celebrate her birthday? I think your quickness to assume someone is being deceptive or manipulative speaks more to your mindset than theirs.

1) if you saw the way your 9 year old daughter was being portrayed by TV producers as an entitled cocky brat, I would certainly hope that you would be more "scripted" and less candid on-camera after that first season. 2) Maddie and Melissa were both very close to Kalani while they were on the show and in the years following their departure lol ???? 3) Maddie and Chloe have said that they do talk and meet up from time to time but they don't post about it because fans (LIKE YOU) are so fucking weird about it
