I've had mine 8 years, and it finally bloomed tonight,double bloom,I am so happy to finally see it bloom, rare occurrence.

Wish you would post another video of your night blooming cereus this year. Mine is going to bloom soon and this video helped me know what to expect. I didn't know the bloom was open for such a short time.

Nice Time Lapse. Have you had more bloom cycles in one season? We had Four cycles from July thru October in 2019. Each time it Blooms there a more flowers? This year we had 2 cycles and the most flowers yet. The last one was about 15 flowers.

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering how long it took to bloom and if I needed to move it. Mine is sitting in the kitchen in front of window and just got a bloom starting on it after having the plant 11 years.

Feed a water soluble cactus food every two weeks in spring and early summer Use a cactus blend soil mix.Keep pot bound.In winter water sparingly .As the amount of sun decreases. Provide a window with southern exposure to maximize light. DONT feed after bud set

no -- requiere mucho más agua que el cactus. Es una planta de zonas tropicales. La visitan los murciélagos.

I keep mine on the patio with early morning sun ONLY. I bring inside for Winter. It CANNOT tolerate a freeze. I'm in Dallas TX USA.
