A short artfilm of the poetry and music event commemorating 20 years since the executions of Ken Saro-Wiwa & the Ogoni 8 and the continued call for justice from Shell. Held at Rich Mix, London, 10th November 2015.
Dance the Guns to Silence II featured MCs Kadjia Sesay (Sable Litmag) and Kinsi Abdulleh (Numbi Arts), spoken word artists Dorothea Smartt, Zena Edwards, Selina Nwulu, Sai Murray & Jaydev Mistry (Virtual Migrants), Luwi Mahenga, Numbi's 'Take me to Rio' collective, singers Bumi Thomas and Dele Sosimi, and DJ Tillah Willah. The Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP) was represented by Lazarus Tamana, Europe coordinator.
A co-production between Platform's Action Saro-Wiwa campaign, Sable Litmag, and Numbi Arts.
