About Emeroy:
Emeroy is a health coach, dancer, father and author. Growing up he struggled with two huge challenges: self confidence and being chubby. He began dancing at the age of eight.Over the years he gained confidence and found his passion of making people smile. Dancing also led him to actively pursue a healthy lifestyle. The results of combining these two, dancing and health & wellness, enhanced his abilities to perform on a much greater level. He began to find joy in helping others create their own transformation and discover their own self confidence
As a dancer, he started out at the age of 8 and has been teaching since 2004. He has danced with international organizations like Culture Shock, Hit The Floor Productions, GEC Entertainment, and performed for the Los Angeles Rose Parade, international artist Jonalyn Viray, and competed internationally at Hip Hop International and is a two time City of Alhambra B-boy Champion.
As a health coach, he's been coaching for several years and was featured on Time Warner's Get Fit. He's helped hundreds of individuals not only burn fat and build muscle, but also create a healthy active lifestyle so that people no longer have to yo-yo.
He's recognized for his zen style leadership. Combine that with his passionate vision of guiding others to become their best selves, gives him an authority when it comes to personal transformation. Whether it be through dance or fitness classes, he coaches individuals to gain the confidence they seek and get they results they never thought was possible.

*SEVENTEEN's CHOREOGRAPHY REFERENCES* (ones that Emeroy hasn't reacted to yet ☺️) For competition level: •HIT •GETTING CLOSER •DON'T WANNA CRY •FEARLESS (but you have to watch FEAR first in order to understand it deeper) For very detailed & visually-satisfying choreo: •THANKS •CALL CALL CALL (japanese) •CLAP •HOME For cool, chill and feel-good concept: •GOOD TO ME •HAPPY ENDING (japanese) •HIGHLIGHT •FLOWER For chaotic energy: •AJU NICE •MANSAE •BOOM BOOM For cutesy but entertaining theme: •PRETTY U •MY MY •OH MY! ----- I picked only the ones I think you will enjoy. Seventeen has loads of choreo especially that they incorporate dances to almost all of their songs. 🥰

as soon as i saw he picked the tma performance i started cackling bc i knew leaderline dance break would surprise him quick info dump: the three members that did the surprise dance break are the three leaders of seventeen. the member wearing the pink shirt in the back is woozi, who is the group's main song-writer/producer, as well as being the leader of their vocal line(those in the group who specialize specifically in singing, obviously they all sing and do it well tho). the one in the red shirt on the right is hoshi who is seventeen's performance leader(both for the general group and for specifically performance line, the members who specialize in dancing) and he's played a very large part in coming up with choreography for the group's many songs through the years, starting from before their official debut. the last member on the left and wearing red is s.coups and he's seventeen's general/executive leader, basically their official 'head' of the group. many carats actually speculate(with good reason!) that the surprise dance break for fallin flower that was included in this performance is a hint that the three of them are going to release a song together again, affectionately and appropriately titled "leaderline comeback", after a few years since their first and only other song as a trio so far. fun and somewhat random fact lol, you mentioned svt is good at changing up choreos and leaderline's song that they released was titled "change up"

wait im dum i thot he was supposed to be that way LOL. i thought that because in the move right before that you can see how he’s facing sideways when everyone else is forward. i thought he just pushes them then the flower thingy unravels oops
@ako8357
@ako8357 3 жыл бұрын
@@danasakai3083 you're not dumb, seungcheol was right where he was supposed to be. the slide forward is part of the choreo (he does the exact same thing in performances), it's just super easy to read as a correction bc that's how a professional *would* correct their position.

"subtlety" "sharpness" Me: You're going to *LOVE* Don't Wanna Cry. About dancers that catch eyes, I do get what you mean with BTS and how some of the members catch more attention with their stage presence while dancing. To me, Hobi and Jimin especially are practically eye magnets. They have such sharpness and grace in their movements, it's captivating and impossible to look away. V is also really great with using facial expressions to emphasize his dance. I think the fact that no one particularly stands out in a formation is what makes SVT so special though. They definitely have very strong dancers with amazing stage presence that would catch people's eyes in individual/smaller unit performances (for me it's Woozi, Hoshi, The8, and Dino), however while they're dancing as a full group, they pay special attention so that the level of presence every member exude is about the same (not toned down, but evened up). Thanks to that, they look very uniform and united without anyone outshining the other (aside from each of their singing parts, in which they are intended to stand out). I think if you want to see more individual stage presence, you should see one of Dino's Danceology (I'll let other carats recommend which because I personally don't follow all of them), Hoshi's freestyle dances, and The8's performance MVs. Or you can react to Performance Unit's songs, where individual style is more easily spotted. My favorite Perf. Unit song is Lilili Yabbay.

They worked with Team Same's Choi Youngjun all night to create those catching petal hand movements lol you can see a vid on Choi Youngjun's ig of him with Hoshi and another dancer, Yoo Seunghyun, and they worked hard to think of more "swag" movements for the chorus since the rappers would be in front for it. Team Same also worked with them on Fear, another great choreo with *no rest*, if you want to check it out on your own time. Usually for idol performances there are times the non active dancers move to the side stage, but in Fear the "non active" members form part of the props/stage while waiting for their parts. Team Same seem to have very creative methods of using space and I'm glad Hoshi and the boys got to work with and learn from them ^^

Another svt video?! Well carats are blessed😭tysm!!😭 the thing with the juxtapositions in this choreo is literally just every svt choreo tho lmao they also always incorporate their dances to the lyrics of the songs which i became obsessed with coz not a lot of performers do that these days. I literally kept crying the first time i watched this coz the kr lyrics are just sooo raw compared to the jp lyrics (and also coz they performed Kidult before this xD) Ohhh and also another thing they do a lot is use the members as props which big grps usually do but somehow when svt (n golcha n tbz) do them, it’s just soo satisfying to watch! In svt, no one member stands out the most coz the whole grp themselves stand out together as one which is soo much better in performances!

thank you for this video! i want to recommend fearless! i think why you wont have a dance bias in svt is because all 13 of them is always trying to dance as one and you cant even pick like one person who stood out because they tried to dance as a team, but you can always check out their unit performances for their stage presence. I recommend watching lililiyabay dance choreo!

Thank you for this! Gave me an opportunity to appreciate Fallin' Flowers' choreo once more... The choreographers that work with Seventeen have always said that they were geniuses in executing choreography... :) And the members adjust their choreo to work with their style and message they want conveyed... Plus they have incredible endurance so their choreos can be more complicated than other bgs... Btw, when you said it's like anime, they might have been going for that, becasue their Korean songs ang choreos always hit differently than their Japanese songs and choreo... :)

I'm just waiting for the day Emeroy reacts to "Don't wanna cry" with the 2x faster version as a bonus clip, is it too much to ask?

1. It's on a list I have so I'll get to it eventually. But you'll be waiting a while since I'm prioritizing Kickstarter pledges and my Patrons. 2. If you want to make requests, become a Patron. I have a specific tier for that.
