What I love in kpop is that, they do all that crazy choreos while singing live on award shows and comeback stages. Seventeen is one of the groups do it like a boss with stable vocals while dancing hard. Seventeen, kings. Period.

Seventeen's choreos are some of the most creative in Kpop (Fallin' Flower ? Don't Wanna Cry ? 24h ? Masterpieces) because they really treat it as a visual representation of their music and concept instead of just something that looks cool. Their choreographies are supposed to elevate their music, make you understand and hear it, and thus enjoy it better. They often include sign language in their moves so that hearing impaired people can still understand their message. And even when they don't, their moves are often very interpretative so that you still get what the song is about, even when you don't understand the lyrics.

Seventeen is really an amazing group, they act as a team. They dance as a team. It's because they syncronized so much that u wouldnt notice who the center is, everyone is the center. Your eyeballs focused on the group and if ever u wanted to focus on each one, you have to watch thirteen times just to see how each dances.

I enjoy your enthusiastic reactions. It truly takes a dancer to appreciate quality dance. However, the best approach is watching the music video first, followed by the choreography, then the live performance😄 This way you maximise appreciating the group’s creativity. Those who are more into the music per se also watch the lyrics video.

MVs vs Dance Practices - Imho, for certain songs, dance practices helps us appreciate their dance, choreo, transformations, the guys who are not in the center, etc. Like Fearless. At the same time, I've realised there are some songs for which the MVs just makes us love it more, HIGHLIGHTS the dance itself more. Like Fallin' Flower.. Then there are some where both makes us love it morenmore. Like Fear, 24H, HIT.. Doesn't help that the watching order determines our love for it sometimes 😇 (Certainly DOES NOT apply to SEVENTEEN songs!)

I have come to the moment that I wait for your reactions !!!! :D YEEEI READY TO WRITE IT DOWN. I feel so happy with your reaction!! The thing that I love about it's that I can feel LIKE I'm watching it for the first time. YEAH they are really goofy! the number of videos of them with titles like Seventeen are idols or comedians and Seventeen forgetting that they are idols is huge xD so If you want to have a laugh someday they have the content ahjaj I'm telling you. At the beginning of the video, besides goofing around they are following the concept of the MV. The concept is that they are a company of entertainment that produce, record and direct mvs. So during the MV and the dance practice, you will see them arranging the lights, setting the cameras, editing the videos, painting the walls, etc. Also, they included this concept in the video because they are a group known by the title of self produce idols. So they love to goofed around with that concept. On their program GOSE, when they have to make an episode giving ideas about what to do during the whole year they used the concept of SVT entertainment, they are workers and they have a CEO (woozi) Shahjahan is really funny. As a general explanation almost all the members work for their group, and they have a role to play. Each of them does something and that's why they have that title. Hoshi choreographs as well as Dino, The 8 too; Seungkwan takes the role of contacting programs to make seventeen well known, DK and Seungkwan have participated on Ost and collab, Mingyu, The8, and Wonwoo has worked on editing, producing, and directing videos and photoshoots, they are really amazing. Well enough of me bluffing, and sorry for the whole paragraph ajahaj But I loved your reactions so I feel the need to answer your questions. The MV of this song is really good and yes, is one of the mv that have good choreo on it. I would suggest that you watch it on your own a live stage of this song because it was created as a continuation of "Don't wanna cry and Without you" so every time they finished each choreo they stay in that position and the next choreo begins in the same position, I would leave a link

I really love these choreography vids from groups because you get to see the whole picture without cuts. I can really appreciate the actual official videos as well because groups usually have specific concepts every comeback and a lot of their vids are super creative with production. I see it sorta like a teaser for the dance practice / live stage videos lol. Idols generally make their choreographies for "comeback stages" and music shows (shows where they perform the songs with choreography, sorta like TRL with 1000% better production) and they perform this choreo many times during the song's promotion period. It's a whole package basically.

thank youu, glad you enjoyed! I guess watching the dance practices rly does let you see the full package of the performances they wanna show(?) one of my favorite things ab the clap choreo is how they stick to this clap concept rly well (they do this a lot too w their other choreos), the clap becomes a special point of the choreo that keeps reappearing. *fun fact: iirc, this choreo was actually planned to be easy enough so the fans could follow their dancing, the way they gesture to the crowd, asking them to clap.* I feel like I learned how to notice a lot more details in a choreo bcs of this song actually, during the pre chorus they tapped their foot as they move their upper body around, the beginning is also one of my favorite moments! every movement they do as they rise up from that crouching(?) position looks so smooth

i tooootally agree with you on the choreography vids!! For years (before FULLY becoming a carat) i used to just watch seventeen's choreography videos with my siblings just because they never fail to amaze me and I felt like nobody in kpop danced like they did. My sister's a professional dancer and even before we became carats we used to just bond over watching seventeen's choreography videos for fun while she'd give me insights about the choreography from a dancer's perspective and (still before being a carat) she'd even show their dance practices to her company members and even her boss, especially Don't Wanna Cry and Aju Nice back in the day, because of how amazed she was at their creativity and synchronization!! HAHA CLAP was actually one of the first Kpop dances she learned which really opened her up to learning different dance styles since she was originally a ballet dancer! Anyway, I love your reaction as always! I hope you guys react to Getting Closer and Hit!!

Fun Fact: Three songs of SEVENTEEN has choreos connected to each other (which baby carats or other people probably don't know). Don't Wanna Cry -> Without You -> Clap The end of DWC is the beginning of Without You while the end of Without You is the beginning of Clap. Btw, I love your reactions! Although you didn't look at it part by part, I am still glad that you enjoy their songs and you notice some little details (which are related to your way of dancing). Thank you! Waiting for more SEVENTEEN songs.💖 Edit: The dance practice of Clap just tell us how they are self-producing. :))

Great reaction! As someone that appreciates choreography a lott, I agree with ya'll that reacting to choreography videos is probably better, since music videos also have visual elements that prevent people from seeing the full choreo. A bunch of people have already recommended some classic Seventeen choreos like HIT (suuuuper high energy) and Getting Closer (another high energy one), but there's a lot of choreos of theirs that is super creative and just soooo smooth with transitions that I think ya'll will definitely appreciate: 1. Fallin Flower: very contemporary, the transitions and visual allusions to flowers is a masterpiece 2. Good to me: one of my personal favorite choreos, the song just has a fun r&b groove and seventeen knows how to play with the beat, some of the isolations they do in this song are craaaaazy 3. Happy Ending: A lot of back and forth between slow graceful movements to hard hitting fast choreo, they still make the transitions seamless though

y'all should check out the lyrics to the song, too!! i just got to the part where you're talking about the like theme of clapping in music and whatnot, and this song is cool because it uses that to basically say "man sometimes you have bad days and things are rough, so when it gets hard, get up and clap along with us to make yourself smile and brush it off" and it's just. such a nice message! i know y'all are here for choreography but something tells me you'd appreciate the lyrics too!!

I can attest that their concert live performance of CLAP is really a top-tier one. If it gets you all hype already with that dance practice, the intensity just increased on the live stages! I agree with you that I’m often disappointed in MV that don’t show the greatness of the choreo of a song. I appreciate the dance more than the artistic value of the colorful storyline visuals! Seventeen is so underrated! Loved your reactions! Reminded me of myself when I first watched this. Not sure who the choreographer was but he or she should be rewarded!❤️

1:29 lol it’s their 2nd full album, he’s putting it in the center, you usually see an album in the center of their dance practices

Really recommend you watch their golden disk award 2020 (2021) ^^ Or other music award on 2020 They never repeat same routine Even if they use the same song. Always with new remix and new routine

I always love dancers watching and appreciating Seventeen's choreography. To be honest all their dance practice are lit and you won't be disappointed at all. My personal favourite are MyMy, Fallin Flowers, Hit and Fearless, Fear.
