Hey guys, after many requests here is a simple breakdown of the pen spring modification to lower the center of gravity and overall ride height for your Danchee ridgerock.
The primary benefit of working air bubbles out from under the piston is not necessarily to eliminate air from the inside of the shock rather it is to ensure you are adding an equal amount of oil to all four shocks.
When selecting your desired pin spring keep in mind whatever the overall compressed height of the spring is will be the equivalent to the loss in overall shock travel. Basically the taller the pen spring is when fully compressed the more travel you will lose.
This is a fairly simple DIY process. Make sure you have your shock oil of choice on hand before undertaking this project.
