Watched you video several times now, helped me decide to by the Vevor version (identacle to yours), starting was a pain because the door opening is so small making loading a dirty chore so now use barbecue tongs to load wood rather than hands (cleaner too), then starting was another issue due to small firebox size, your tip on diesel and sawdust saved the day, I use Lamp oil and yes went to Dollar Tree for just the right spoon to apply, works GREAT! My top warped initially but when it cooled, settled down and hasn't warped since. I did get a nice cast iron damper.....makes a BIG difference in burn control, overall your tips saved the day, now me and this stove have officially BONDED! Mine is used in my monster 200 square foot cabin on 2.5 wooded acres with year round stream that I have lived in for 11 seasons now full time, wouldn't trade it for anything, thanks again!

That is a truly lovely gift, which you will no doubt find to be a game-changer for your hot-tent. Nothing beats a well-designed, packable woodstove, as such stoves have to be used for more than just warming the tent, but to cook, keep foods and drinks warm, dry out cloths, etc. Happy new year to you! - Martin

Highly recommend AGAINST using in a tent. Went to a glamping sight that had this and the no dampener is a huge negative. Tried pulling the ash tray out. A bit to compensate but smoke ends up coming out of little corners where it shouldn’t. Fills up the tent with smoke quite quickly. Get one with a damnpner

I bought his stove for Christmas last month. I did the first burn 🔥 on Monday everything was fine. Today the aluminum top melted into the stove during a camp out on the second burn. POS. I will be posting a video soon.

hello and great video. Marvelous day for a fire outside. Just a suggestion, rather than putting a hole in the roof, maybe just get an elbow fitting for your piping and use the existing hole. A thought instead of cutting another hole and loosing heat trapped in the top of the tent. Enjoy the day

Can you modify the pipes so you dont have to make a new hole in the roof? What it sparks will make it out and land on the roof? It looks like a great stove, plenty of space to handle both wood and kooking pans! Happy New Year Jen looking forward to a year with adventures from you! :)
