@Nomopoly 2 true dat. i’m so self conscious of my body and at my studio only certain teachers let u wear shorts with ur leotards and it makes me have actual panic attacks (i have rlly bad anxiety so stuff like that freaks me out)

OMG, I KNOW. I can wear just uniform,I mean i cant choose any colors any brand i wanted anything. And the leotard is litteraly going down my chest (i dont know how to explain) and i need to hold shoulders up from falling.. Is really uncormftable.. Ahh. 😑🙄😓

In my studio you have to wear a uniform leo but now some people (+14) can wear uniform or black leo, you can wear any leo but it has to be black

That sucks I need to wear uniform Leo for my ballet class my student teaching class is any plain simple Leo and my other student teaching class is anything and for my pointe class I can wear any Leo’s but I need leg warmers and skirt and for my tap hip hop class I wear what ever

We have to wear a uniform Leo for regular classes, but rehearsals and summer classes we’re allowed to wear our own ☺️

If I would try on every leo I owned it would be 4. I'm pretty cheap. Am I the only one who feels weird wearing a leo with my hair down?

No, I feel that way, too! My studio is 45-90 min. away from our house (depending on whether or not we're carpooling), and I always feel weird getting ready and then having my hair down, so I try to put my hair up as soon as possible in the car lol. Ik, I'm weird. I don't have many leos either: I only have 3 lol. We're only allowed to wear colored leos on Fridays, but all other days we have a pretty strict uniform. Leos are SO expensive! UGH!!! 😠 😂

My studio is like that, but we can wear whatever on Saturdays. My level's uniform is like a cap sleeve and pinched in the front and its royal blue. Its kinda pretty so Idm.

Check out Poshmark if you want really great leos for a lot less. Many have only been worn once or twice and you can get them for a fraction of their original price. And if they don’t fit the way you want, then you just resell them. I’ve gotten most of my dancewear secondhand on there.

my studio makes u wear black leos, and pink tights. we can choose like the stile and brand and stuff. i got a mirella one, and it has black lace on the top and its sort of like a halter top.

If you want good pretty leos you should try Jo and Jax their stuff is a little more expensive but they have really pretty designs. Some of their stuff is too loud for ballet but some of their older stuff is great.

my dance studio isn’t competitive or anything so we don’t have to wear leo’s or anything to class, literally everyone but the little kids or the new kids just wear casual clothes. the little kids wear leotards and stuff but kids above like 7 just wear a t-shirt and leggings or shorts or something. i feel like my studio is the only one that does that...
