I know this is an older Dandy's song but I still think it's one of their best! It's neo-psychodelic with a "mantra" like chorus. Many listeners don't realize that this is the Dandy's trademark. All their songs use mantra like choruses which creates a meditative state. I'm probably being too technical in as far as breaking down their songs but this is the essence of their songs. Just don't forget to chant while listening.
@johndifool3512 Жыл бұрын
what do you mean mantra ? where in the song ?
@wonsworld61 Жыл бұрын
whole heartedly agree with you. I saw them in a smaller venue around the "last junkie" era and after the first few songs, I was thinking this might be what Pink Floyd might have sounded like in their early days. The underlying drone to their music is more prevalent in their live music. Its almost hypnotic in places. I just thought that they were the greatest band I had seen in ages.

It's incredibly crazy how much this man, in this video like in some others, was... sensual... ! A real public danger... It was better to see him in picture than to take the risk to meet him... He had there a sensual and almost languorous way to express himself...
@josepedroramosascensao29918 жыл бұрын
+Marilyne Chenuet you mean sensually gay?
@marilynechenuet20358 жыл бұрын
José Pedro Ramos Ascensão No... ! Definitively no :-) ! Just... sensual. Umbelievabely sensual. I met and seen 2 men who were like this, and the 1st had this particulary in his motions. "This man there", him, has it in... in his face, in his gaze, in his way to express himself ! Some expressions are... sensual ! That's it ! I needed years to put the finger on "what" he had so special... so unique, to finish to find. Even if I'm absolutely SURE that a lot of men found him attractive in Devil (it's an expression who means : very, very attractive, seen that the Devil is suppose to be irresistible, what he seems to be), he didn't never (in watching him !) give me the impression that he was gay :-), really not ! After, in hearing for the 1st time the 2 first songs of "13 tales...", I told me "it's not possible that the man who composed songs so sensitive, elegante, full of harmony, is straight", but... finally, I don't think that he is. And, something else, the gays are... more "precious", not "sensual" ! In all cases, that's my opinion seen that I didn't never met a gay who was sensual. This Artist (in more to be an excellent Autor Composor is NOT precious. According me, the fact to be sensual is very rare : 2 cases in my life, is few ! Why ? He gave you this impression to be gay :o ? No shit ? Serious ?... Not me xD ! Really not. In fact, he gives me the impression to be straigt "straght out" ! Completely ! Definitively ! There is ANY doubt about it ! He doesn't have in his manners, in his way to move, in his way to express himself nothing gay. Nothing ! Don't fool yourself : I don't have nothing against the gays ! In fact, I like this men very much. They are of good company, know to have fun, and are viril in don't having the... they're not big nags ! They are more delicat, elegant and sensitive. Voilà :-). Good night ! (sorry for the slice but when a subject interests me, I can't stop ;-) !)

+Marilyne Chenuet No, he's just jealous! LOL
@marilynechenuet20358 жыл бұрын
Medea the Witch You really feel him like this :-) ?... I don't. He has a way to move extremely... unurving, a gaze !... unurving too ! It's the second man that i "feet" sensual in my whole life. But it's my perception of the "phenomen" :-), i feel him like that. And, in more, why would he be "jealous" :-) ? Nothing in his behaviour in this video doesn't express the jealousy ! Where did you see it ?
@georgiana37458 жыл бұрын
Not him, the bloke who said he is " sensually gay". As if a man who expresses sensuality in this way could only be gay! Men can be awfully critical of other men who do not fit into the heterosexual male stereotype. Courtney is a genius...and an awfully sexy genius !
