I think I'd have moved the Lotus out of an abundance of caution, but that's just me. Lauren is spreading her wings just nicely, and is clearly fulfilling the traditional role of a trusted life partner. Thank you for the followup on the first video from Ray. I can say from experience that at times some get complacent about the weight a hoist suspends in the air. It's so good to know that everyone always has safety on their minds and can react properly when something goes wrong. I have personally seen vehicles come off a hoist, not a fun sight - needless to say what the customer is going to think about it. So glad everyone is okay. Thanks again, Lauren. You all are doing a great job making that building into a home!! Also I am so happy no one got hurt when that lift wire decided to let go! I had my leg crushed at work and ultimately had to have it removed below the knee, So yes I am so very happy no one was hurt! Hi Lauren, bet you will be glad to get that bathroom done . The old bucket behind the shed will be redundant 😂😂😂. Ray was bloody lucky when that cable went. Think it's time to get someone in to check out all your lifts. Safety first saves lives. Not to mention customers vehicles. Office looks great by the way. Glad no-one was hurt when the lift cable snapped (they're def not safe to be near if they break out). Great looking new office floor. Maybe someone could send you a nice shiny protector to go on the door so you can easily wipe the oily hand prints off.

Decent flooring makes SO much difference to a room. I mean, I can only get the visual effect, not the smell thing, but it looks so much nicer. Important if you are spending a load of time in there! Plus having a sanitary place to go do what everyone has to do sometime!

Looks like tomorrow I’m inspecting the cables on the 2 post lifts at my work, it’s a good thing Rey is a smart guy and had a good idea on how to work around the issue.

I don't know if your shop has one yet, but an emergency eye wash station is a must around chemicals. Especially since the shower has been removed. Thanks for the update. I am glad to see nobody was injured.

Have similar lifts that have done this. You cant leave the cables ynder load. But have noticed Ray is good to keep setting them on the stops. The way the cable is crimped is the issue. It will eventually will work out. For a quick safety indicator its pulling out,a spot of spray paint will show if the joint is pulling out and a five minute check each month
