I used to use slate dressers, one like a spinning rotary guillotine, and one with rotating disks like a can opener, the guillotine seemed more dangerous, though the guy shing me how to use these machines hed his hand pulled into the dick dresser mangling it badly, and he had his fingers fixed in a bent position so he could continue to hold a chisel and keep working at the slate quarry. I have used a few dangerous machines in my time, and still regularly use circular saws. Many of these machines were used safely in my view., though one or two weren't.

Why some videos are "flowing"? They look like they were shot under water. Video stabilisation algorithm artifacts? If all those machines are home made, I would like to see industrial ones :D. Those solutions, even really homemade range from "someone is going to die", through "someone is gonna loose fingers" to "I wouldn't give it to a teenager, but capable adult with instructions will be fine". Some are just so easy to modify to make it safe. Some guards, safer feeding mechanism and would be pretty safe. Other are pointlessly dangerous. And drills seem stupid, or at least only good for specific purposes, like splitting long logs (but the car hack seems very dangerous, not sure if those drills can grab cloth or tissue, but it looks like it want's to chomp those ankles so bad).
