I saw it when I was 17 years old in Van Nuys California I still have the ticket stub from 1982 I am 59 years old and you are absolutely correct.

I just love that the original storyboards for Bladerunner have the scene from BR2049 in them where K confronts Sapper on his farm! That's awesome

i saw it in a matinee at a crummy mall outside Mesquite, Tx that had a surprisingly good theater with great sound. it was pretty much empty. i really didn't know what to expect as the advert was so limited. blown away from my perfect central seat! of course got the soundtrack. love the first theatrical version the best. much better than the director's cut. the crashing through windows scene was and is perfect for me. the voice over and final almost blinding sun lit traveling through green forest ending were both incredible to me. and it was not happily ever after. there was the question of how long they had made clear. who knows? and who knows for each one of us? it was great.

Everyone's Michael Deeley's old friend/good friend. I read his book years ago - worth a read. He produced two of my favourite films, Bladerunner, and The Deer Hunter.

You can find a cut that has a lot added as far as the cut stuff and touched up. There hasn’t been an official though. Ridley’s final is definitive

Anyone else have trouble with these discs? I bought the brand new DVD version of Blade Runner Final Cut THREE TIMES, and every one of the discs either played only once or twice before failing, or they didn't play at all. One of them "Dangerous Days" plays about half way through before croaking.

I don't think that narration helped it at the box office, it was cheesy and took away from the immersion and the mystery/ambiguity of the story. Everyone seems to like the director's and final, cuts
