Question....I am intending to buy a 2021 Gladiator but am considering something larger and wider, the Ford 150 Raptor. My question is, in your experience on these narrow dangerous trails, will they only accomodate a midsize truck like the Jeep or Tacoma, or....will these trails accomodate a full size F 150 Raptor??
@DirtGarage
@DirtGarage 3 жыл бұрын
You 100% wont fit a fullsize down these trails. We had to clear trees just for the Gladiator. But if you don't plan on driving tight trails to get to beautiful spots then the F150 is fine.

@@16driver16 from my experience everybody down here that does overlanding or rock crawling in Toyotas has sliders. Maybe not at first, but many put sliders and skids ahead of bumpers on their armor list. I know I would have benefited from a transmission skid and/or transfer case skid in my 06 Tundra the first time I took it off road and smashed my cross member.
@16driver16
@16driver16 3 жыл бұрын
@@TundraShiz older toyotas t-cases were protected by their crossmembers and had small factory skids, other than the tcase nothing hangs below the frame, idk if they changed that on the newer trucks tho.
