Breaking news now that a KCS grain train derailed near Kansas City today.There are reports on no injuries on board the train.KCS says somebody put a big rock on the tracks to derail the train,They also state that All engines in the crash will be repaired,but all cars will not,This is Gustavetime news out.

BREAKING NEWS: A KCS Grain train was making its way from Kansas to Nebraska. The train consists of a SD70MAC 3965, KCS ES44AC 3456, and a KCS C44-9W 4411 a former BNSF C44-9W. Pulling 131 Hoppers load with grain. The crew noticed a boulder on the track that was from a wind storm when it was hit all 3 locomotives and 31 cars derailed. Meanwhile heading in the opposite direction a KCS Intermodal was heading from Texas to Kansas it consists of a KCS Heritage unit SD70ACE 4006 and a KCS SD70ACE 4042 pulling 104 well cars. When they hit the derailed Grain train both engines and about 16 well cars derailed also starting a fire when all fuel tanks of the grain train punctured. A few months later the NTSB found the cause as a boulder on the track derailing the Grain train and the Intermodal train didn't have a working radio to contact the the dispatcher when the Grain train derailed. The Engineer to the Grain train was killed when the Intermodal hit the lead engine, the conductor survived but was severely injured and was taken to hospital. The Engineer and conductor of the Intermodal train survived but also need to be taken to hospital. The SD70MAC 3965 was scrapped as it took the brunt of the impact when it was hit by 4006, ES44AC 3456 was also scrapped when it was crushed down it's frame and was severely burnt. KCS 4411 was repaired and was later painted into an official KCS livery, it was later in storage where it is likely scrapped as no documentation exists on the locomotive. KCS 4006 was taken to a KCS shop where is stayed for a while for a few months and was repaired and is still in service as of today. KCS 4042 was scrapped when the front end was lodged into the dirt and had its rear truck heavy damaged. The line was closed for almost 11 days, after 8 days they cleared the track and was reopened but was restricted to 15 MPH, after 3 days the line was officially repaired and tracks can operate at the normal speed limit of 70 MPH. The line is still used as of today.
