Many people don’t have the necessary knowledge about use of firearm, self defence and the law surrounding self defence, that is why unosizi lomntu ophatha isabham. But what you said is one side of the story, the other side of the story is that, blessed is a man who carry a firearm, blessed is a man who has the knowledge and ability to use it to save himself or her family and others, firearm humbles him and that person knows the power that comes with carrying a weapon, and therefore use it wisely. You not the only person with this knowledge. Many men have this knowledge, maybe including guy in the car. The other story is that let’s encourage people to have this knowledge so as to know when and how to use firearms. The other story is about the men in the car, if you say its self defence, the other side of the story is that the men in the car’s life was saved because HE WAS CARRYING A GUN, he saved his life. The otherside of the story is that innocent and really competent men to carry guns should continue carry them to protect others from those who cannot behave right when they have guns. The guy in the car might have protected other people from this guy. Let’s also encourage those who feel the need to carry guns to do so and use them appropriately to protect others against those who can’t behave appropriately when they have guns, police will not be there to protect them, we are on our own and we are the only agents of our own self defence. We should encourage people to carry, its good that the guy in the car was carrying and used the weapon appropriately, thats what we should encourage as well.

I had exact argument with my friend I explained to him the guy in the car had no other choice He was trapped inside his car and the one outside was a big threat That was text book self defence in my view U couldn’t run anywhere u inside your car and the guy outside had his gun out and was so unpredictable I am not encouraging violence but what I am trying to say the guy in the car was defending himself His hands were tight

A sober mind nd experience is who u are my bro.i also hav experience of atteding courts nd in court the language is unique they also test the truth that they might find that it is not true or it is the only truth or u thought that pleaded guilty bt wat u will not be guilty as pleaded.truth nd lies in court are jst statements. Yr argument mst be factful bt base on de law the rest is for the judge to decide beyond reasonable doubt. In one of de case one guy told dat the court was not satisfied even though he pleaded guilty therefore the judge saw it important to bring the traffic officer (coz it was speeding case,) to testify .from de judge point of view with de statement he gave pleading guilty was tricky as his statement contained more of innocence so maybe the officer arrested him mst come nd tell his site of story to make things clearer in accordance of de law.

There's a guy who has a KZfaq channel. He calls himself "king said so". A very intelligent guy. He just made a video in the morning just after the night of this incident. He said people should own guns. I responded by saying people should not own guns because if nobody had no gun in this incident nobody was going to die. But obviously he didn't like what I said but I wasn't surprised because many people when you teach them they get angry

Yhooo I was thinking of applying for one ,but,I doubt I'll proceed,I have a story to share,a traffic in Butterworth went to a place of drinking with his nephew,on arrival they, entered and got drunk.Then they lost each other inside the club,the nephew went to the car,drunk and with no keys he smashed the traffic's car windows, entered the car and slept inside the car.When the traffic came out,he saw his car's window smashed and somebody sleeping inside his car, didn't bother to check who that person was, assumed it was a phara,he pulled out his pistol and shot at the person,who unfortunately was his nephew,who died instantly.the traffic was arrested and sentenced,he,because of stress since he was already old,died in prison.Usizi lomntu ophatha isbhamu...........

Interesting that both the guys were law enforcement officers that behaved in a manner that showed no training at all. It would be interesting to know if the weapons they both carried were state issued and if law enforcement on duty was even called during this incident.
