I just hope he listens to the fans who can give him advice and inspiration. While at the same time taking their advice with a grain of salt and putting his own spin on it. That’s what I’m hoping for.

I'm happy we are moving on from Adam Wingard. Last time we had a lesser known director was with Gareth Edwards who produced a fantastic Godzilla focused film for 2014. 🤞 Here's to hoping that we get LESS mind numbing pointless monster battles and instead get a story with more physical AND emotional weight to it! Make it so we can have BOTH better written characters and many fantastic monster fights like in KOTM. The kaiju, characters, AND fights were taken seriously then.

I checked out, "I am mother," over the weekend. It's had a pretty good tone and had a few moments of suspense as well as a solid story.

I enjoyed the movie as well, but I have no idea how that kind of storytelling will translate to the Monsterverse. Hopefully this new director doesn't try to shoehorn in any kind deeper social commentary or philosophical subtext. Just give us some epic monster battles and expand on the personalities of Godzilla and Kong and the movie will do fine.

There might be SOME Kong, but Kong shouldn’t be involved at all. If anything, if Godzilla is dealing with a threat and Kong finds out, it would be nice to see him send Shimo up to help Godzilla.

I’m already excited 😂 the franchise is in a good place right now having both high quality films coming from both USA & Japan. & it was awesome to see how much love & attention the franchise received. Hopeful to see what he comes up with. It sounds like he’s taking a good approach & listening to fans ! But…. I hope the next instalment is far more focused around Godzilla , OR just a core Godzilla movie in general. I’ve honestly grown to love Kong abit more with development , but I need more of Godzilla.

I would love to see Monserverse version of Orga. I want to see Godzilla go full monster mode like these last two movies. But with something like Orga. Save Destoroyah and/or Space Godzilla for Adam Wingard. What I love about Godzilla 2000 is that your can see Godzilla learning and studying as he's fighting. I want to see more of that.

I’m really hoping the next movie focuses more on Godzilla as a Godzilla fan myself. I’ve also noticed throughout the movies that the charge ups for his atomic breath have become shorter. I hope Grant does something that gives us the same tingles I got in the theater when Godzilla in KOTM charged up his atomic breath for the first time.

I've always thought you had an excellent speaking voice and I think you really should pursue doing acting for voice overs for other animation stuff. and welcome to the world of acting good Sir period now you're going to have to get yourself an agent. and where did your Sir yourself with the actor's guild and pay your dues. trust me it's worth doing and possibly getting yourself an agent if you want to pursue that as a potential career or even as a side career. I have always liked your voice I think you have a distinctive timber and tone to your voice not everybody can pull that off but definitely a good strong midwestern American accent. nice and basic too.

If I had to guess optimistically, this next movie will have an equal balance of depth and fun action for both kinds of watchers. The villain monster will likely be another powerhouse since most ppl on social media can’t see past size and power when it comes to kaijus. Whether a new original Titan or a remake of a Toho, I hope it looks epic.

We need to retcon all the lore made in GVK and GVX. Say that Dr. Andrews spoke too soon about scar king being at the beginning (before ghidorah arrived to earth).
