My family is very much in touch with the ancestors as well. For decades and decades crows have taken messages between the women in our family when we're apart. I always knew that when a crow followed me, watching me and repeatedly crowed four times in a row I was supposed to call my mother for something. It became so reliable that we took it for granted. now they are finding out that crows are as intelligent as apes, which does not surprise me. I think they will find most animals are incredibly intelligent in lateral ways, and spiritual ways that defy space-time. What a gift that you were followed. I am sure it has meaning. 🙏❤️

Mike Olsen, I listen to your music basically every day. This collaboration with Heldom is beautiful. It moved me emotionally and captured me, giving me a feeling of synergy with our ancestors (except I'm only 2% norwegian lol). Thank you so much for your trances that you put us in. I'm wearing one of your shirts right now even! Your music has been a huge part of my life for a long, long time and probably won't ever stop. Keep doing your thing!

The music is reaching and touching a lot of the whole Norse lineage and even those who aren't descended from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and so on. I'm 25% Swedish and am digging to find out if there is more Norse blood in my veins.

it is crazy how close our cultures are Slavic, Germanic and Celtic. We are one family, and folk music and spirit of traditions are the testimony to that. There is no need to dive deep into textbooks to see the connection. It is self-evident.

All these cultures raged war against each other for hundreds or even thousands of years."_ True and battles have certainly been fought, though we (today) don't have a clear picture. Tribes / groups, roamed far. Crossing many boarders. These bands would have taken in new people along the way. This is just one example. The extent of what we don't really know today - far out reaches the extent of what we do know. My point being: There have been many exchanges. And they were not entirely negative / violent all the way.

The tongue/mouth instrument reminds me so much of Pre Hispanic Filipino Folk music - they also had a seafaring and raiding culture prior to Christianisation.

For whatever reason many who have a warrior mindset in the modern world have a lot of internal battles they face and i relate to it myself. John Wick's pencil I pity a fool who knows no balance. Odin was also a wisdom and magick God, he has many sides other than the bloodthirsty attitude. The likes of such is more in tune with Ares of Greek mythology, whom was only welcomed to Mount Olympus because of his father being Zeus; otherwise he wouldve been casted out due to his disrespect and failure.
