Men just want a woman who OFFERS to pay or help. That makes the difference for men. I think I speak for a lot of men in saying that we’ll gladly pay, if you offer to help pay/split a bill. THAT makes all the difference. Some women don’t even have the courtesy to offer they just expect everything to be paid for. People judging her for saying the truth about having dated guys who never picked up a tab do not know how it is to be in that kind of situation. I’ve dated so many of those guys that won’t even pay for their own simple water bottle and would leech on my own savings and not even contribute to the daily expenses almost living like a King when I work my ass off and have saved enough for my future Retirement (I’m just 32 and financially stable). It’s financially liberating to be able to pay for my own shit as an Independent Woman with my life sorted out; but it’s emotionally and psychologically draining to be “taking care” of a grown Man who refuses to even shoulder 1% of the daily expenses of living together.
