Just some trivia… The name Kentucky, was named by the Cherokee people, think of it as three vowels can - talk - E, I found this fact out when I moved here in 1992 so it’s not Kentucky can space talk space E. I do not know the meaning but I’m sure anyone could find out with the digital technology we have available happy for wheeling

This is a great video for people like me who have never been. It's good to see the trail names and to see that it was ridden with an almost stock 4Runner. I like to see the compatibility of the trails. Great video!

Great video. Great quality, great content, so nice to see a video with substance and length with details. I live here near the DBNF and the Red River Gorge and go often. I have so many suggestions for you all on campgrounds, scenic views, great hiking trails and the dozens of waterfalls and hundreds of arches. Your families will enjoy as there is so much more to see. Should come back, please look me up. I have a stunning vintage Airstream motorhome, pop up camper as a basecamp and a Jeep. Been going for 20 years and haven't seen it all.

was that very last bit on Spaas Creek Rd? It looks like it.. It's a giant mud pit now.

It was super dry at the time. There was no water at all in the creek crossings. We went back last month and all the trails were pretty muddy. I need to finish editing the video and get it uploaded!

Nice video! The rest of furnace pilot road would have destroyed the 4runner. I did it in my modified forester. Here is the video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nZh-Z7l9ucDZmKM.html Also, I've never seen the DBBB that dry, you all got lucky.

Can you do a video all about the ranger/Mazda?
@TarheelOverland2 жыл бұрын
Are you thinking of a build overview-type video? I sold the Ranger a while ago, so I would have to dig through old photos and video, but I probably have enough to put something together. It was a cool rig and even to this day my daughter gives me a hard time about selling it.

Can't seem to find Furnace pilot road on my avenza map is there another name possibility
@TarheelOverland4 жыл бұрын
I’m not aware of another name for it and Gaia only labels it as Furnace-Pilot Rd. Mountain Springs Rd dead ends on the west end of it. On the east end of Furnace-Pilot Rd, the road name changes to South North End at the intersection with Pilot Rd. Hope this helps!
