Daniel deserves better. I know he kissed Bethany when sinead was dying which was obviously terrible, but I have more sympathy towards him cause he clearly wasn’t in the best headspace. And he never actually loved bethany like he did sinead

Daniel is just a "Justin" who "won" Daisy: and he knows it deep down, which was why he was so specially bothered by Justin, rather than other guys eyeing Daisy. It's clasic Jungian psychology: takes one to know one. *he's just the same loser* - but with "respectability" - who *doesn't deserve her* , and frankly, never did.
