Cormier is under the impression Nick will fight multiple times to ease him back in. If he wins he might fight one more time. Give him 1 warmup fight max. We don’t know if that’s the last time we get to see him.

My first thought was, oh wow he must be having millions of subscribers now, especially with these big name interviews. Then I look and Schmo only has 169,000 subscribers. All I can say is we are so lucky we got to witness his uprising. This is the Golden Era of MMA. We will look back on these days, and wish we had appreciated 2021 UFC and MMA more. The beginning of Morning Kombat, the beginning of Schmo, the end of Weidman, the birth of Francis Ngannou. Francis Ngannou vs. Jon Jones. Heavyweight finally being an elite weight class in the UFC for the first time. So many major historical things in 2021. And Schmo is going to have MILLIONS of subscribers, and will be a household name on major Network TV. P.S. We STILL get to watch Conor McGregor and Justin Gaethje fighting. AND VALENTINA, Amanda Nunez, and Rose Namajunas.... I mean, seriously. 2021 is FIRE!

13 wins in last 15 fights ain’t bad. However, Dariush isn’t ranked top 5 and isn’t somebody who upon losing a fight would get the guy who beat him a title shot. I’d say, Tony has to beat Dariush and then anybody from top 5, then he’ll must get a title bout. Still, in Corona days, anything can happen, and if a title fight were in jeopardy of being canceled, Tony should be the no 1 candidate for the replacement.

@@rhys17ma72 Vettori has an active win streak though. Vettori is ranked no 3. The only guys ranked higher than Vettori have had their title matches and lost to Adesanya. Nevertheless, Whittaker was more deserving, I think, of the title shot than Vettori. But in the lightweight division, it’s not a clear route for Tony because of guys like Poirier and Gaethje who are more recent interim Champ than Tony and haven’t fallen a lot in the rankings, especially Poirier would be in a much better spot than even if Tony beats Dariush.
