Christoph Waltz is so serious in almost every interview, but not in this one. Graham Norton is just a genius at picking out a person's weak spot and making them vulnerable towards a good laugh

Probably not. I mean, there's e.g. Heath Ledger... after shooting "Dancer in the Dark", Bjoerk said it was such a horrifying experience that she never wants to do another movie and I'm sure there are many more examples. Personally, I don't even like watching movies any more because I feel like there's enough drama in my own life. So... if my life depended on putting myself into the shoes of horrible/tragic characters regularly - I can see how that might not be for everyone long-term.

@@horseluver136 yes, I agree. Part of Christoph's arsenal is to crack very dry jokes which take a moment or two to fully register. ***** But the way in which people talk about "british comedy" and "american comedy" is almost as though they consist of something OTHER than the things I mentioned. When someone goes "I love british comedy - it's so much better than american comedy", they don't mean "I love comedies that have british actors in british locations making british cultural references - it's so much better than american actors in american locations making american cultural references". They normally mean in terms of style or sense of humour. Sense of humour has nothing to do with accent, cultural references or location - it has to do with comedic tone and structure. Both british comedies and american comedies have examples of every type of humour and yet you hear or read british people all over KZfaq boasting about the "british sense of humour" as though it were a genetic thing/ability that is superior to americans or something. You know what I mean?

This is Graham's improv genius. Christoph throws out a terrible joke... and Graham immediately turns it into comedy GOLD. Take notes, Jimmy Fallon/James Corden.

About her story with the crossing extra... they filmed the opening scene (the one in the photograph) in Turkey. That’s how you cross the street in general.
