DDL has been PHENOMENAL in Many Movies...But Lincoln was his Greatest Performance in my Opinion...He really made me feel as if i went back in time and was watching and listening to the real Abraham Lincoln...Some think Lincoln was somewhat Boring...Personally i LOVED it and was never Bored...What a GREAT GREAT Actor DDL is

Anyone notice the subtle Daniel Plainview mannerisms (mostly with his mouth as he speaks)? It's fascinating. I'm sure he was either preparing for or shedding the role at this time.

Luckily I read part your comment (it only came up as part whilst watching it) before watching the clip and so I looked out for it. Yes you are right and my thoughts whilst watching it was with his mouth. Kind of how he purses his lips. Then afterwards I read the rest of your comment and we obviously noticed the same thing. After watching ‘There Will Be Blood’ I have gone looking for interviews on him and I am astounded as how different he is as person then as Daniel Plainview. I stare and squint looking for any resemblance but cannot find any until I saw this clip and your comment. Without researching it, he surely must’ve been preparing for the role at this time.

It's a fantastic interview and I believe Daniel did a brilliant job explaining what acting is, and what it means to him. I shouldn't be surprised that he excels, what else would you expect? I'm not sure why Parkinson seemed less than happy with Daniel's efforts. I'm not a huge fan of Parkinson, to be honest. I don't see him as a great listener. Daniel is, utterly, humble. So down to earth. He speaks so eloquently and it enables him to be such a great communicator.

I agree. I felt Parkinson was bit judgemental. And wasn't properly listening to Daniel.

I used to think Jack Nicholson was the greatest actor ever & hes got three Oscars two for lead & one for supporting & like over 30 nominations ..... until DDL made There Will Be Blood!!!!! Hes got three lead Oscars but thats besides the point!!!!! He's Oscar worthy in absolutely everything he ever made!!!! The only thing i don't like even though they're completely different dialects is how his voice sounds alike in both G.O.N.Y. & T.W.B.B. otherwise they're beyond amazing performances like everything else he does

Hello Something I have been in search for quite sometime is a connection with somebody that goes beyond vanity. It's very hard to do in this day and age. People can be, somewhat very superficial. On my quest to achieve this I have learnt a lot about human nature. It seems to me that those who are not given traits such as beauty or being wealthy are some of the nicest, kindest and generous people. While the "gorgeous" and well off seem to be the most arrogant and greedy people out there. Of course that's not to say there aren't beautiful kind people out there. I've been in the process of change for a while now and I have made some decent changes. I saw your profile and it intrigued me. I wanted to learn more about who you are and what type of path you would like on in life. Can we talk?
