I like how they can make simple moves look super cool with stylings. The move they done is everything you can learn in an Improvers class but they make it look so good with personal styles with the music. A good example that you don't need to do complicated stuff to make a good dance.

So, the reason they be watching their screens is that they are students, recording their instructors' demonstration and they are being focused to get it all in frame. It's not abt posting it on social media or not being in the moment. I take Bachata classes and it's typical for the instructors to review the conducted lesson and demonstrate the use cases as well as throw in moves that would be taught in upcoming classes. In fact, they ask students to pull out their devices to record for those reasons and so that students can review this video again in their own time to learn/revise.

I'm a student and I can enlighten on those who record with their phone. We students want to capture the demonstration within the phones so that we have that accessible whenever we need to refer and learn from. Usually, post class, the instructors themselves ask the students to pull out their phones to record the class review and demonstration.

Okay, so feedback time… I love the confidence, the passion, and the enthusiasm with which they dance. Go big or go home I always say. Some figures had an insanely high degree of difficulty and I love that they brought them out of the bag. It’s a testament to their skill and years of practice. Also I love the song,,, great choice 🔥 On the flip side, I don’t know… I think the male dancer has to lead the pair, and make the girl look ‘prettier’… at some points, it felt like he was trying to outperform her, it looked like a dance battle a few times. Then about the leading, perhaps he was doing it too aggressively, but it was very difficult for the girl to look pretty. First of all, he wasn’t giving her time to complete her figures, so some of her figures look ‘closed’. For example, look at 1:10 - 1:15 or 1:30. As a result, look at the girl fighting with her hair at 1:23 and 3:05, or the unimpressed looks in some faces in the crowd. Overall, I’d watch this again, and I’d definitely attend a class ❤️🔥
