Conor, I was just watching the Southampton/WBA match and the aftermath. You're right about their celebrations, the players and fans shot their collective bolts a bit to early. But I think the reason behind that was relief, the Saints didn't have that match secured until the 78th min, they were wrecked at the end. We had our match sorted at 41 mins and we got all important players off long before the end. Also, look at Junior Firpo at the end of the game, he smiles at the camera and says, "...one more to go", no wild celebrations, just confidence in the task ahead and barely breaking sweat!. This match might be easier than we anticipate!

Sargents injury history can’t be ignored, similar to Bamford. There’s an American striker sitting at Coventry City that would look good in white. 😎

Farke is going to decimate the youth structure at Leeds which will leave the club in the wilderness for years to come. He hasn’t used Joseph who is one of the best 19/20 year olds I’ve seen in that position for a long while and it’s not just me talking like that many professionals in the game at the moment think the same.

The caliber of manager determines the type of player you can attract. if we still had Bielsa the draw of playing for him would be immense if he wanted you. We’ve seen several players already turn down Farke so Sargent is maybe the limits of his draw. I don’t think he’s the very best we can attract particularly if we are in the Prem.

If we get promoted, Jonas Wind from Wolfsburg will be a great signing. 11G 7A in 31 starts in the Bundesliga this season for a struggling Wolfsburg side. Good at hold up play and likes to drop deep and play the wingers in behind which would be perfect for Cree and Gnonto (if they stick around.) 6’1 so good height, 25yo and will inevitably accept a prem move if offered, Danish international too. Bundesliga strikers also seem to transition well into the premier league (Haaland, Aubameyang, and even the likes of Dzeko, Firmino and arguably Awoniyi.) Transfermarkt have a €20m valuation on him so definitely doable and a no brainer! Sargent won’t cut it in the prem but this guy 100% would

I'd prefer Latte Lath if we're looking in the championship. Sargent has a Bamford-esque injury record and i don't think is going to improve us significantly. I think we need to move beyond Cooper as well. Ampadu is ready to take the armband. Having older leaders in the dressing room is important too, but a clean break with a new leader on the pitch is important. Your captain constantly on the bench isn't right for any club

If we get promoted and are only going to buy the better players from the championship it just shows their ambitions about staying in the premier league! We need to be looking for exciting new talent not players on the middle to back end of their careers that still haven’t made it to the top level!

In my opinion, Josh Sargent is the kind of striker we need. Only concern might be his injury record

Yes you can combat transition moments. Don’t be careless on the ball in BP (ball possession) and then if we do lose it we have to react urgently. I think we will go in to the game with our line up like first leg semi. Look to frustrate them and then pounce in the 2nd half

If we stay down Farke can bring in his nan if he can make it work and gets us up. If we go up then it makes no sense to get Seargent. No sense whatsoever.

I'd take Sargent in either league but I'd still give Joseph pre season to earn his place in the team. I've not watched enough of Norwich to have a good opinion on Sara but every time I've watched him I've not been that impressed. But that's probably only 9-10 games this season.

We haven't hired a sporting director as Farke was a sporting director previous he never want to be a manager he did is badges just to see what it was like what they have to go through to help with hiring process etc but decided to stay on management hence why when he started he demanded he is the manager followed technical director and head of recruitment as he want to pick the playera etc and they get the deals done I don't agree with it imo

Absolutely mediocre this Farke character is damaging the club he’s ruined the youth system what happens to us if he fails we have to pick up the pieces and we’re back to square one but 2 or 3 years down the line. Sargent isn't a player who should be linked with this club, if Farke considers this a good signing then he could maybe reignite their love in back at Norwich. Joseph is the future, the American links are hopefully a thing of the past, the majority of them are a waste of time.

What I can't understand is the Josh scored 2 goals...Joseph scored 3. JS = costs, MJ doesn't. There is a better option, with no cost....in my view. I'm not sure - As a central forwards - MJ better. If Gnonto/Summerville go - then maybe.
