I'm probably on my own, but I hated that segment. The issue wasn't Cole's savagery. It's the fact Kross didn't respond. I think Kross should have responded with a savage line of his own talking about Adam Cole's smaller stature before taking him out.

Daniel Garcia is really the appropriate opponent for Adam. I know some people wanted Jay White, but I really like when DG is given the spotlight with the established wrestlers.

Looking forward to Daniel Garcia and Adam Cole facing off in the ring soon, I think this will be more of a warm up for Cole, and a much greater learning experience for Garcia whom is increasingly becoming better and better everyweek. Still needs some work on the mic, but doubt about it Garcia will get there soon.

Garcia is a good, safe option for Cole's first match back. He won't do anything stupid that could him back on the shelf, and that's what matters. And if this could somehow lead to Cole helping Garcia break away from J.A.S at long last, even better.

@@Lorenzo3K He suffered a severe concussion during his Fatal 4 Way match at last year's Forbidden Door. And, seemed to have pushed himself through a should injury (torn labrum) before he REALLY had to take time off. So, he wasn't on AEW TV for the rest of 2022 until he finally returned.
