Ok. I'm a couple years late, but imma ramble. If I think of think of this as if I haven't seen the episode, it could be really deep. What I imagine is an alternate universe, in which the main character's name is Snowfall Frost, and she is the selfish princess of ponies. She decides Heartswarming Eve (An important and traditional holiday) isn't important or interesting, so she wants to get rid of it. Then, she is visited by the three previous princesses, who tell her how it would damage the past, present, and future. Future specifically speaking in this scenario. The princess before her had the power of clairvoyance (seeing into the future), and saw great peril and depression in the future for the kingdom in her time, so she wanted to avoid it, and ended up putting her and her kingdom into exile. After she died, the kingdom went back to their home, and Snowfall Frost, her daughter, was appointed as ruler of Equestria. The power went to her head, so soon the entire kingdom's money was in her clutches, and she decided what was necessary and not. She became known as 'The Cold Princess' as time went on. Then, the night before she was going to erase Heartswarming Eve completely, all of the previous princesses came to her at 1, 2, and 3 o'clock. 3 is when her mother came to her, in this case, Luna. Luna would've been called Luna Frost, bc Snowfall didn't get married. Luna explains to Snowfall that if she erases Heartswarming Eve, the future would be in grave danger. There would be peril, little food, starvation, and a great depression. People would leave the kingdom completely with what little survival supply they had left, and all of Equestria would be plagued with death and madness. Ik it's dark, but that's what I would think if I hadn't first seen the episode.
