The low here works literally like Razz. Therefore A2345 is the best (wheel) low hand but also a decent high hand. In the low suits do not matter.

Omaha must be Negreanu's worst game. I know this tournament is multiple different games. He leads out with a non-nut flush draw on a paired board in Omaha, gets raised, and still calls. That's just bad.

For a bit more context. A typical strong opening hand in hilow would be something like AJ25. So dnegs trying to charge that hand. In the typical scenario where dnegs is behind it’s when yockey has AK25 where he’s outkicked. But probably felt that he has enough going with the straight and flush draw. He really only ran into one of the few combinations of hands that had him in huge trouble.

Your statement implied that you think you should never lead out without a strong made hand on paired board. That might work in your local cash game or tournaments but not the highest level.
