omgoodness i've been watching poker on tv since 2005 and i have loved watching elezra and daniel and others but i have to say Eli has aged way more than the 16 yrs it seems and daniel hardly looks older at all! i still love watching them play though but eli is so skinny I do hope he is healthy and will be with us a long time to come! omg zolotow i recognized the name but not that dude he has aged a lot too in the last few years. i probably have too but just not on tv! lol

Probably because Negreanu is now the age Eli was at the time period you're talking about. Of course Eli is going to age more noticeably. He's over 60.

For the people that are confused in PLO you can only use 2 two of your four cards to make the best 5 cards so if you have A Q K 10 and the board is A A 5 6 6 you have to use AK and only have trips

I dont know the rules of this game Sags got QQ44 and neagreanu got AK93 the flop is J93210 how come negreanu won??? Someone explain to me

Daniel made 2 pair on flop. 9 and 3’s. Can only play two cards of the 4 your dealt. So sags only has one pair of QQ.

Pot limit Omaha has different rules then holdem. 2 cards from hand plus 3 from board equal a complete hand. One player(Erik) had QQ vs Daniels 9933.

Yeah, best five card hand using only two of your hole cards and three of the community cards. If the board had paired on the river, Eric would have won with the higher two pair (queens and deuces was a possibility, for example.)

In Omaha you have to play 2 cards and only 2 cards so he would only have 1 pair the queens

I don't like Daniel's game, he commits too many chips with vulnerable hands. In these games with more cards it's very hard to stop people from chasing so don't bother betting a lot, you are basically flipping for big stacks but I guess Daniel play hold em that way too lol. Maybe why he doesn't win that many tourneys unless he gets hit by the deck. He plays as many tourneys as Phil but doesn't have close to as many wins or cashes cause Phil knows to fold when it's a flip cause he can get his money in better.

Elizarah is so thin, emaciated, stressed out, busted, burned through his bankroll a long time ago. Now he struggles and gets backers and investors. What a grind. Young kids should take a lesson from this, those that think poker is easy, lets them work the hours they want, etc.. It sounds good until one burns through their money and then, is back on the grind trying to make a living.

I guess my use of "making the nuts" differs from the announcer. Making the best hand right now isn't significant if there are potential bigger hand possibilities out there.

I wish I could follow the action. When ESPN covers HORSE they announce what game is being played for each hand. Maybe they do when it's not chopped up like this.

it says what game is being played in the bottom right. 8 means high low games where u need 5 unpaired 8 or lower where an ace is a low card. omaha is 4 card poker where u can only use 2 of ur 4 and must use three cards on the board. stud is a 7 card game where you get dealt 2 in the hole and 4 out then a last hole card. limit betting across all streets holdem hand rankings

I used to always love Daniel Negreanu years ago. Rewatching old stuff now and seeing how he is now a days, I kind of get the feeling he's a real A-hole in real life lol. Just feel like he's really condescending and often tries to low key put people down in the guise of joking around.
