You can actually do without disabling face id. -create new gesture Gestures 1-swipe up -wait and count for 3 second (cuz after 3 second the face id will disappear and appears the passcode) Then continue the rest of the gestures. (I mean the passcode gesture) 😊

You can also just swipe up, tape where it would say "face-id" then it goes to the passcode then type in your pass code.

Btw , u don’t necessarily need to disable face ID , u just need an additional tap on (Face ID) text to open the number pad. Plus u can do it as quick as u can to make it work faster (which can also help for ppl to not have time to memorize ur password). 👌🏼👋

remember when setting up the “gesture” to tap before swipe up and you have to activate Siri first to launch this command and unlock the phone. Great tip ! ty

Awesome tutorial. It works! One thing nice is even though I turned the Face ID off to do the process, I just toggled it back on for it to work without having to set it up again.

Hello. If you make time delay for about 3 seconds betwean swiping gesture and your 4 digits gestures, it will bypass your face recognition problem ;) It will mimic iphone's waiting for trying to recognise the face and switch to buttons instead ;) So sou can have both at the same time! Just discovered it ;) Thanks for motivation!

if you wait 4 seconds after you swipe up in when you are customizing the gesture and then you put your code in. you can use it with face recognition.

Actually. If you scroll lower deeper and mess with it a bit, you don’t need to disable face id. I use Siri to wake up my iPhone, then “single tap” to exit Siri and stay on wallpaper screen then “phrase.

So question? At any point did he register his own voice to his phone or can anybody with the phrase unlock his phone. In my opinion it is just a party trick and not a security feature.

it doesnt need to disable face id. Just when youre making the pattern after swiping up wait about 4 second and the push the buttons. Just like when the face id cant recognise your face and you have to push you password after about 4 sec.

you don’t have to turn off face id!!!! when you set it up swipe up snd press in the middle of the screen once and it’ll go from face id to the numbers. i have a 6 digit passcode and it worked with face id on. swipe up, press middle of screen to switch from face id to numbers, enter your passcode

Thanks for the interesting video. Is there a way to disable face ID entirely by voice? I'm thinking of a situation where someone else has my phone and wants to unlock by holding it up to my face it to get access to my private information. I would like to be able to say a command that locks the phone and disables face ID without me touching the screen or any buttons.
